The issue of education of children of preschool age, considered as the process of introducing children to sociocultural Russian values, is actualized. There are given the results of studying the perceptions of children of senior preschool age about the row of Russian values. The pedagogical conditions of comprehension of values by children in the context of preschool education are considered.
