Modern educational literature on foreign languages in the general education system of the Russian Federation: innovative transformations of traditions

Rational combination of traditional and innovative technologies is an important aspect of development of modern educational literature on foreign languages. In the article there proved that the development of innovations within traditions is a process of improvement of traditional effective practices by introducing innovative ideas into them. This fact, on the one hand, helps to preserve the significance and relevance of traditions, and on the other hand, ensures their flexibility in the context of modern challenges and needs. The article describes the main traditional principles of construction of educational and methodological complex on foreign languages and reveals the features of their innovative transformations. In the article the transformed content of the following principles is presented: communicative-cognitive basis of learning, interactivity, multicultural contextualization, gamification, collaboration and adaptive sustainability.
