Peculiarities of modelling and use of cases in the process of english language teaching of masters’ degree students in sciences departments

The article deals with the analysis of the peculiarities of the use of the methodology of case-study for business English teaching of the masters’ degree students in the departments of Soil Science in Lomonosov Moscow State University. There is suggested a detailed definition of the concept “case” in the use to the educational tasks of the course taking the key task (teaching students of the skills of the cases’ composition) into account. There are revealed the optimal criteria of the cases’ modeling, there is defined the formal structure of their composition.
