Structural transformation of the economy during the pandemic

The article is devoted to the problems of economic transformation under the influence of the coronavirus pandemic, which has become a shock phenomenon for the world economy and for the citizens of each country. The article examines the dynamics of GDP volume, world trade in goods and services, as well as the dynamics of incomes of the Russian population in the difficult conditions of the crisis associated with a drop in production during the pandemic. An analysis was made of the leading exporters and importers of goods in 2020. Statistical data were used that reflect the dynamics of world trade, exports and imports in various countries, changes in the cost of oil, household income and spending, as well as the state of budget policy in a pandemic. It is concluded that citizens, states, employers have understood which areas of activity are important for society in the first place, and in which direction it is necessary to carry out structural changes in the future.
