The article deals with the analysis of the concept of the professional competence of the future teacher, there is uncovered its integral nature. There are substantiated the functions of the professional competence, supposing the three-component structure of the professional competence of the future teacher for their realization, that is presented in the article by the unity of the axiological and semantic component, the contextual and activity component and the reflexive and correctional component.
