Shadowing as a way to improve your listening in Chinese

The possibility of using the shadowing method to develop and improve listening and speaking skills for students studying Chinese is considered. It is analyzed the effectiveness of consolidating the material on a particular topic (‘In a restaurant’) with the help of shadowing on the basis of educational texts of the most widespread Russian-language textbooks on the practical course of Chinese for universities. It is concluded about the appropriateness of using the supplementary materials in the teaching process.
