The theoretical basis of speaking teaching in the context of the Russian language as a foreign language (A1-A2): what and how to teach

The article deals with the semantic and processual aspects of the process of the development of the speech skills of the students in speaking in the context of the course “the Russian language as a foreign language” (A1-A2). There is suggested the review of the theoretical and methodological works, where the raised research issues are discussed. There is actualized the emotive and reflexive stage in teaching speaking of the foreign listeners, aimed at the optimization of the process of mastering the language (the Russian language).
