Influence of vitamin and mineral premixes introduced into cows’ rations on their productivity and reproductive functions

The research carried out at the large-scale cattle breeding farm of OJSC Agro-motol’ has established a positive effect of vitamin and mineral premixes in the rations of dry cows on their reproductive functions and the live weight of calves at birth. During the study period the average daily milk yield of cows in the experimental group has been significantly higher (by 7, 3%) compared to the control group cows. The calculated data have confirmed that the average daily weight gain of the experimental group calves exceeded the control group calves by 2,9%.
