The necessity of reconsideration of target, content, procedural and result aspects of teaching in the network of modern upbrining as the characteristic of pedagogical activity of a teaching institution and a separate teacher is given proof. The establishing of subject position of a student is offered as a pivotal characteristic of upbringing as a humanitarian teaching practice.
