Potential of digital educational platforms in foreign language teaching of students of extramural form of study in the context of distance education

The article deals with the potential of the digital educational platforms in the context of the distance education. There is paid special attention to the interactivity of the process of foreign language teaching of students of extramural form of study. There are analyzed the advantages of the implementation of the suggested platforms in the practice of universities. There is raised a problem of the activation of the students’ activities of extramural form of study directed to mastering the learning material.
