The potential of development of sociocultural identity by the means of school theatre: historical and social studies aspect

The article deals with the pedagogical practice of one of the leading school theatres of Lugansk. There is characterized the potential of the school theatre in the process of development of sociocultural identity of school students. The authors present the pilot model of the process. The didactic and psychological-pedagogical effects of the school performances are described. There is revealed the role of the material of History and Social Studies in the implementation of the sociocultural functions of the school theatre.
