The article deals with the analysis of the experience of the authors in the usage of the microcontroller platform Arduino in the educational process of the pedagogical university, secondary schools and the work of the discussion groups of the scientific and technical creativity of the students. There are characterized the problems of the development of the skills of using Arduino. There is considered the potential of including the students and schoolchildren in the work directed to the designing and creation of the robot installations with the use of Arduino. The authors discuss the potential of the creation of the online discussion groups of the scientific and technical creativity of students.
