The article deals with the potential of the mixed educational technologies in the professional and personal development of students. There are distinguished the characteristics of the mixed educational technology - integrity, variation and emergence. There are revealed the four groups of the conditions of the implementation of the mixed education - the requirements to the students, teachers, educational process and educational environment of the university. The potential of the professional and personal development of the students is demonstrated at the example of the mixed educational technology “flipped classroom”.
