The tasks of the teacher-musician in special instrument class at the initial stage of training

This article discusses the pedagogical challenges and experience of a teacher-musician, who is working in the further education system and taking into account the age and psychological traits of children of primary school age, enrolled in the class of a special musical instrument (domra). These tasks are related to the development of children’s musical abilities, their interest and love for music, training their will and personality, aesthetic taste, original performing skills. Solutions to these problems require extensive teacher's knowledge, professional skills and personal qualities.
