The regularities of professional and personal development of university teacher in the context of harmonization of subjective needs and objective challenges

The regularities of professional and personal development of teachers, conducting the professional activity in the dichotomy of the personal interests and the external standard and administrative challenges of the system of higher education, are substantiated. The regularities are identified on the basis of the data of the results of the all-Russian study “The professional strategies of teachers of higher school in modern Russia” and the analysis of the scientific information and standard sources.
