Current risks in non-public railway transport

The article discusses the current risks in the operation of non-public railway transport, which has more than 10 thousand business organizations in the country. These are: shortcomings in the legal regulation of the interaction of public and non-public transport (inconsistency of basic concepts, lack of federal support for non-public transport), aging of the fleet of shunting locomotives, obsolescence of technical equipment in the rolling stock repair industry, as well as the selection and training of personnel for non-public railway transport.
