Проблема и цель. В статье исследуется проблема эффективности воспитательной работы в современных университетах, которая связана с воздействием на ценностные установки студенческой молодежи и формированием ценностей, норм, идеалов, соответствующих государственным задачам и направленным на улучшение качества жизни россиян. Цель исследования - выполнить анализ ценностных установок студентов, обучающихся в высших учебных заведениях регионов Сибирского федерального округа, и на этой основе зафиксировать изначальный мировоззренческий статус студенческой молодежи, для которой в настоящее время эти высшие учебные заведения формируют концепции, стратегии, программы воспитательной работы. Методология. Применялся метод опроса на основе специально разработанного вопросника. Полученные результаты были обобщены и обработаны с помощью лицензионной программы IBM SPSS. Для обоснования концептуальной и методологической основы исследования применялся метод критического анализа актуальной научной литературы и метод выделения концептов и идеальных типов для уточнения понятий и подходов, используемых при интерпретации полученных результатов. Результаты. Ценностные ориентации студентов сибирских университетов во многом связаны с семьей, планируемой профессией, местом жительства. Проведенный анализ эмпирических данных, полученных с помощью on-line опроса, проявил основное содержание этих ценностей, их традиционную основу. Студенческая молодежь ориентирована на профессиональную деятельность, связанную с призванием и высоким доходом одновременно, создание семьи и рождение детей также являются желанными целями и входят в круг важнейших ценностей. Заключение. Исследование ценностных ориентаций студентов ряда сибирских университетов свидетельствует о переходном характере их ценностной динамики. Конкретная региональная и культурная специфика ценностных ориентаций студентов, обучающихся в вузах Сибирского федерального округа, связана с переходным характером содержания ценностей и мотиваций, где сочетаются как коллективистские, так и индивидуалистические установки, а также с дуалистическим отношением к своему месту жительства.

World outlook of university students: analysis of students' values in the Siberian federal district (the Russian Federation)

Introduction. The article deals with the effectiveness of moral education interventions implemented by modern universities, aimed at developing students' values, attitudes, beliefs and ideals which correspond to national goals and the ideas of improving Russian living standards. The purpose of this article is to analyze the value-based attitudes of undergraduate students of higher educational institutions in the Siberian Federal District (the Russian Federation) in order to identify the initial world outlook of university students, for whom moral education concepts, strategies and projects are currently being developed. Materials and Methods. The data were collected via self-complete questionnaires and were summarized and processed using the IBM SPSS software. In order to substantiate the conceptual and methodological basis of the study, the method of reviewing recent scholarly literature and the method of concept and ideal type differentiation were employed to define the terms and approaches used in the result interpretation. Results. The value-based orientations of Siberian undergraduate students are strongly related to their families, future careers and places of residence. The on-line survey empirical data have clarified the nature of students' values and their traditional framework. The students are focused on pursuing careers associated with their professional aptitudes and high income at the same time. Moreover, students' values include marriage and having children. Conclusions. The study reveals the transitional nature of students' value orientations. The regional and cultural specifics of Siberian undergraduate students' value orientations are determined by the transitional nature of contemporary values, beliefs and motivations, where both collectivist and individualistic attitudes are combined, as well as by a dualistic attitude to their place of residence.
