Цель. Статья посвящена недостаточно изученным вопросам безопасности лиц, проживающих в многоквартирных домах, связанных с использованием лестничных клеток (лестничных площадок) как части общего имущества таких домов.

Problems of ensuring safety when residents use separate common areas in apartment buildings
The article is devoted to insufficiently studied issues of safety of persons living in apartment buildings associated with the use of stairwells (stairwells) as part of the common property of such houses. The analysis of legislation providing for the obligation to respect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens living in a residential building, neighbors, cleanliness and order in common areas, including entrances, elevator cabins, stairwells, as well as comply with fire safety requirements. The possibility of bringing individuals to administrative responsibility for violating fire safety requirements when using public premises is considered, taking into account the current legal and practical impracticability of punishment for these offenses of these persons. Proposals have been formulated that make it possible to effectively solve the problem that has accumulated over many years related to the cluttering of stairwells (stairwells), which threatens not only property, but also people's lives and health.
