Актуальность: фактор укрепления демократических основ государственности в большинстве стран мира и принципиально новый уровень информированности их населения о происходящем, подкрепленный потенциалом новых цифровых технологий XXI века, «задают тон» более высокому уровню требований со стороны общества к качеству рядов полиции и строгой приверженности ее служащих точному соответствию состояния их службы букве и духу принципа законности. Отмеченное способствует актуальности выбранной нами темы и необходимости ее рассмотрения в контексте зарубежного опыта, что позволяет предотвратить изолированность осмысления ценностных аспектов российской полиции и действий ее личного состава исключительно рамками национальных границ.

Foreign thought about the social nature of the mission, vision and values of the modern police
Relevance: the factor of strengthening the democratic foundations of statehood in most countries of the world and a fundamentally new level of awareness of their population about what is happening, supported by the potential of new digital technologies of the 21st century, «set the tone» for a higher level of demands from society for the quality of the police ranks and strict commitment of its employees to the exact compliance of the state of their service with the letter and spirit of the principle of legality. The above contributes to the relevance of the topic we have chosen and the need to consider it in the context of foreign experience, which helps prevent the isolation of understanding the value aspects of the Russian police and the actions of its personnel exclusively within the framework of national borders.
