Main trends in social and economic development

The development of the Russian economy as a whole depends on the uccessful development of its relative individual regions. Every single region has its own development trends, challenges and prospects. In the context of the reform of the forms and methods of regulation of socio-conomic development of regions in the conditions of market economy, one of the most complex issues is the question of choice of the vector and the strategy of regional economic devel- opment. In order to make the right choice, you need to analyze economic evelopment of the region.

Kemerovo region - a major industrial region of Russia with high economic potential. Region plays an important role not only in economy Siberia, ut and the whole of Russia. The main directions and tasks of socio-economic development of the soci-field for the medium term are defined in the Strategic Development Concept Kemerovo Region. [1]

Kemerovo region sends 80 countries 1,200 species of industrial proinduction, such as: coal, coke, rolled, cast iron, aluminum, zinc, ferroalloys, widefer, cement, glass, Nitrogen fertilizers, plastics, chemical fibers, synthetic cal resins, electrical products and products of heavy engineering and others. North region intersects the Trans-Siberian Railway, the south -South Siberian. The region has a direct railway communication with all regions our country. Kuzbass provides for transport by railways of Russia more than 18 percent comrade of all goods, including 60 percent of the coal. In 2004 alone, Kuzbass
