Mediation is considered as an alternative method for conflict resolution, in which an independent third party provides assis- tance, the disputing parties should negotiate and reach an agreement a voluntary agreement without coercion or violence. The aforementioned procedure provides a neutral forum for the parties to express their positions, emotions and unique require- ments. The process is guided by mediators trained to do so, and their role is to create an appropriate frame for an integrative negotiation, to guide the process professionally, protect the legitimate interests of the parties and encourage solutions that combine both parties' needs and enable a win-win situation rather than a win-lose situation [1]. A review that was conducted as part of this article showed clearly that the mediation procedure in the education system is vital, effective and has multiple and meaningful cultural and social effects. Therefore, it can be claimed that integrating mediation in the school system as a mechanism to conflict resolution is recommended, and even further, inserting the subject of mediation as a part of the school's curriculum can lead to a decline in the level of violence and tension in the school, to a change in the students' and teachers conflict resolution strategies, and creating a positive educational climate and atmosphere in the classes and in the school in general. The cultural and educational influence of the process may bring to the fulfillment of the social vision that visualizes a society that is more attending, more tolerant and has better tools and skills that promote resolution and settling conflicts.
