Целью работы является описание методики эндолюминальной высокомощностной адаптивной брахитерапии, проводимой в качестве неоадъювантного и неоперативного лечения рака прямой кишки (РПК). Отделение радиотерапии НМИЦ онкологии им. Н.Н. Петрова Минздрава обладает большим опытом брахитерапии опухолей различной локализации, в том числе РПК и рака анального канала. Использование методики началось в 2008 году и продолжается до настоящего времени. В статье освещена методология процедуры брахитерапевтического лечения и представлен обзор зарубежных публикаций, касающихся практических аспектов этой технологии.
