To date, the public mind has certain values and orientations, the value of which is not questioned: and one of the indisputable values of physical culture and sports. Their value in the process of personality formation is quite significant. Since ancient times, the idea that "in a healthy body - a healthy mind" was born. But still, at the present time we see some difficulties in the spread of physical culture, these include lack of funding, sedentary lifestyle, poor coverage in the media. All this significantly interferes with the formation of interest of young people in terms of physical perfection, and, as a result, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle turns out to be useless and not relevant for this category of people. Nevertheless, it should be noted that it is the students, and specifically - the students have some difficulties in mastering new material through low physical activity[1].

Political and cultural life during the reign of Khivakhan Muhammad Rahimkhan I

The article provides historical data about the period of Muhammad Rahimkhan ibn Awaz inaq ibn Muhammad Amin inaq, a representative of the Khiva khan dynasty of Kungirat. Muhammad Rahimkhan, who ascended the throne after the death of his brother Eltuzarkhan, achieved positive results in the unification of the Khiva khanate; has undergone many political, economic and administrative reforms. Muhammad Rahimkhan marched on the Turkmen-Chavdurs to expand the country (1808-1809). Muhammad Rahimkhan marched several times along the Aral Sea to subdue the Karakalpaks, and in 1811 defeated the Sufi of Turamurod and strengthened the khanate. During 1812-1818, he marched on the Syrdarya Kazakhs and the Taka Turkmens in Merv and united them to the khanate. These victories strengthened the position of the Khiva khanate and turned it into an independent powerful state. He focused on digging and beautifying several canals in the country. He set up an engraving on the arch and issued gold and silver coins. Alcohol and drugs were banned during the time of Muhammad Rahimkhan. The mausoleum of Pahlavon Mahmud was reconstructed. Several madrassas and mosques have been built in Khiva. Opinions were expressed that customs and other agencies had been set up.

Problems and achievements of modern materials science

Materials are a multitude of objects of labour which humans transform during the flow of work turning them into products of labour (commodities and means of production). Both source substances for manufacturing of products and auxiliaries for carrying out productive process are materials. Depending on the amount of labour expended and functions of materials in productive process the following kinds of materials are recognised. Raw material is an object of labour which was previously affected by labour and is subject to further processing, e.g. iron ore at a metallurgical works or cotton at a textile factory etc. Raw material is of animal, plant, mineral, or other origin. Initial raw material is an object on which labour was expended; secondary raw material is waste of production, physically or morally obsolete commodities subject to processing.
