В статье представлен обзор работ по данным наукометрических баз Web of Science и Scopus за последние 10 лет о воздействии китайской гимнастики тайцзицюань на физическое и психологическое состояние пожилых людей. Выделяются следующие направления исследования тайцзицюань: улучшение физических качеств при занятиях гимнастикой тайцзицюань, таких как баланс, мышечная сила, походка, координация, воздействие на психологическое состояние, в том числе, при проблемах внимания, сна, стрессе, депрессии; влияние на сердечно-сосудистую систему. Отмечается положительный эффект тайцзицюань при заболеваниях опорно-двигательного аппарата: остеоартрозе, ревматоидном артрите. В целом, более 50 % работ, проанализированных по наукометрическим базам Web of Science и Scopus, посвящены изучению положительного воздействия тайцзицюань на физические качества пожилых людей.
