Social and pedagogical support of modern Russian family: problem and approaches to its solution

The problem of social and pedagogical support of the Russian family at the background of the occuring socio-economic and socio-cultural disruptions, generating a negative impact on the fulfillment of the functions of children’s education and socialization by parents, is considered. There are revealed the basic directions of socio-pedagogical support, having developed in the context of competence-based, axiological and humane personal approaches. The achievements of the body of scientists in the enlightenment of parents and the conditions, supporting its successful development and solving the social and state tasks of encouragement and support of family, are demonstrated.
