В обзоре рассматриваются различные аспекты болевого синдрома у пациентов с боковым амиотрофическим синдромом: этиология, распространенность, основные клинические характеристики и патофизиологические особенности. Представлены современные аспекты ведения этой категории больных. У пациентов с боковым амиотрофическим склерозом болевой синдром не является редкостью и сопровождает до 80% случаев, осложняя течение и без того неуклонно прогрессирующего заболевания. Боль при боковом амиотрофическом склерозе достоверно снижает функциональную активность и качество жизни пациентов, повышает частоту развития аффективных расстройств. Болевой синдром часто остается вне поля зрения клиницистов, сосредоточенных главным образом на наличии и прогрессировании «моторного» дефицита. Все вышеизложенное диктует необходимость более внимательного подхода к диагностике и лечению болевого синдрома у пациентов с боковым амиотрофическим склерозом.
