This article is about the role of the hotel industry of tourist business in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It considers the analysis of the hotel sector in a number of regions and the concept of development of the tourist industry the Government of Kazakhstan.

The tourism industry plays an important role in economy of many development countries. Its development is a vast job market and gives huge opportunities for people .
Hotel industry is closely connected with the sphere of tourism. Tourist flows are directly dependent on the size of this sector of industry -tourism and the quality of the proposed premises.
It is difficult to underestimate the enormous role of infrastructure, which gives a new term as hotel industry for the economy.
In recent years, Kazakhstan has been actively included in the global tourism trade. However, the analysis of the state of development of the hotel industry in the country represented that the development of this business in Kazakhstan holds on only at the initial stage. Because of our country is one of the youngest country in the world. After taking the sovereignty, special attention was paid to other sectors of the economy, which in the first place were necessary for the development of the country. For example: agriculture, industry, textile industry, etc. Despite having had the greatest places with different types of resources, Kazakhstan occupies a small numbers in the world tourist flow. According to WTO estimates, the potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan allows to take up to 40 million foreign tourists in a year, which is 4 times larger in comparison with today.
For the development of the hotel business in Kazakhstan, as well as the CIS countries, strongly influenced by the processes of globalization. This process is primarily manifested in the spread of world hotel chains. Foreign management brings with it a high level of service quality.
Many of the problems are already in the stage of resolution, but more needs to be solved. In the recent days, we should to state: it has no coherent system of tourism with all necessary attributes in our country such as - advertising, trade in services, transport, accommodation, food, communications, security, and others. One of the main problem is a low level of economic and social development of the country, which can be classified as a tourist-exporting countries, where profitable to accept foreign tourists, rather than send abroad their own.
On the whole in the sphere of tourism dominates tourists leaving the process abroad. The number of departing tourists has stabilized and it is on average about 700 thousand people per year. The highest part of them go abroad for business purposes.
As of January-March 2015 in Kazakhstan, the number of objects involved in the placement of visitors amounted to 2 103 units in which there are 51,743 rooms, with one-time capacity of 115,906 beds. The main part of rooms are concentrated in the cities like Almaty (13%), Astana (12.9%), East part of Kazakhstan (12.8%), Atyrau (8.9%), Karaganda (8.9%) and Akmola (8, 8%) areas. Number of rooms reached 51,743 rooms, an increase of 19.1% compared to the same period last year.
Now the Kazakh hospitality sector expects a bright future. There are such large-scale projects like the Universiade, EXPO-2017 and others are actively contribute to the promotion of the country on the world stage and the influx of tourists. According to the Department of Statistics, in the first half of 2014 five-star hotels were handled 26.35% of the total number of tourists, the 4-star - 37.85%, hotels without category - 20.36%.
On this basis, we can make rating: the first place - 4 star hotels, the second place - 5 star hotels, the third place - hotels without category.
We can confidently assert that the expected growth and development in the field of hotel industry of Kazakhstan. And the government adopts for that certain steps. Of course, the problem is not small, but they are gradually being resolved. The effectiveness of this business will be directly related to the qualified experts, conduct a reasonable pricing policy, the introduction of modern technologies and other factors, which were announced in the Concept of development of the tourism industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Plan of the nation 100 Steps" and the program "Nurly Zhol".
