The history of the decisions of the constitutional and statutory courts of the Russian Federation, the legal positions of Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. The examples of judicial decisions taken by constitutional and statutory courts of the Russian Federation on issues of social security law for a certain period, and where applicable the legal position of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. The reasons for increasing the number of decisions in which the constitutional and statutory courts of the Russian Federation used the legal position of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. Provides a list of most frequently used of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, as well as statistics on the application of constitutional and statutory courts of the Russian Federation, the legal positions of Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. It is proposed the allocation of five forms of constitutional and statutory courts of the Russian Federation in its decisions, the legal positions of Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. Made suggestions for improving the legislation of the Russian Federation to implement the principle of federalism in the legislation on social security, assurance of citizens' constitutional right to social security, through the work of the constitutional and statutory courts of the Russian Federation. It is concluded that at present almost all the constitutional and statutory courts of the Russian Federation in making decisions on social security are often used legal position of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.
