Analysis of methods limiting gas breakthroughs into production wells at the Fedorovskoye field

The article explores the reasons causing gas breakthrough from the gas cap into the producing wells and oil penetration into the gas-saturated part of the formation at the Fedorovskoe Field. It appears that gas breakthrough to the perforated intervals of producing wells are mainly caused by the geological structure of AS4-8 formations (absence of robust shale break/screen) and relatively small distances from the upper filter holes to the gas- and gas-and-oil-saturated portion of the formation. Two operation modes applicable for this field are described: for the wells intersecting the formation with horizontal shaft under impermeable shale break between gas-and-oil-saturated layers (cases of gas breakthrough are excluded) and for horizontal and vertical wells in the contact zones of gas-and-oil reservoirs or areas with thin split shale breaks (there is continuous gas breakthrough). Analysis of the Performance in Water Polo Competitions at the World Championships

The article analyzes the impact of recent changes to the World Aquatics rules, in particular, reducing the playing field to 28 meters and increasing the time of possession and re-transmission of the ball to 28 and 18 seconds, respectively. For the analysis, data from the World Water Polo Championships, which were held in Singapore in 2025, and the Games in Fukuoka (Japan) in 2023, were used. The results showed that at the 2025 World Cup in Singapore, men's water polo matches saw a marked increase in offensive performance, with more goals scored and more shots thrown per game, as well as improved goal-to-goal efficiency.

The test of the essence of dynamic processes, in particular, the resistance, formed under the influence of disturbances of different nature, is considered to be a necessary part of formal procedures for solving a wide class of control problems in complex socio-economic systems. As a rule, the relevant tasks here are considered to be the development of a strategy of socio-economic political activity, the choice and study of the effectiveness of financial, economic and legal systems of regulation of various kinds of risks, forecasting trends in socio-political processes and others.

Analysis of the natural and cultural dendroflora of the north-western zone of the Greater Caucasus

The role of specially protected natural monuments in the conservation of biological diversity is irreplaceable. Many reserves have been established in order to expand the network of specially protected natural areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to preserve biodiversity, and to use natural resources efficiently. Along with the State Nature Reserves, new parks and gardens have recently been built, with Eldar pine, acacia, alder, beech, etc. in the natural flora. Along with plants, trees and shrubs of the world flora (new species of catalpa, juniper, pine, cypress, etc.) were widely used. The research revealed that 81 species of natural flora and 36 species of alien flora were used in landscaping. Among the plants belonging to the alien flora, lilac catalpa, Kokatan tecoma, Japanese daisy, evergreen cypress plays a dominant role in the cultural flora on landscaping. The most commonly used species of local flora are oak, juniper, white acacia, sycamore, maple, hornbeam, ash, linden. The cultural dendroflora of Zagatala-Balakan region is represented by 44 taxa and 117 species of trees and shrubs of 91 genera; including 4 families, 7 genera and 16 species of gymnosperms; according to their life-stages: 42 species of trees, 51 species of shrubs, 5 species of lianas, 13 species of ornamental flowers, 1 species of cover plants; There are 80 species of natural flora and 37 species of alien flora.

According to hazard categories (IUCN), 46 species from 35 genera were identified belonging to 24 families of rare tree and shrub plants common in the natural flora of Azerbaijan used for landscaping Absheron. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the NT category (almost endangered) includes 12 species, and the CR category (endangered) includes 8 species. The plant species studied in the article were also analyzed by phytogeographic region and life forms. The results of the study showed that in addition to landscaping, other measures for the protection of the studied plants are necessary.

The paper presents problems existing in passenger traffic by urban passenger transport, as well as the analysis of factors hindering the development of bus routes. There have been studied both quantitative and qualitative indicators of a deterioration in the quality of passenger service by urban buses in the city of Kutaisi. For a comprehensive study of the issue using the time-table method of field observations, an experimental study of the passenger flow was carried out. Based on the system analysis, an assessment was made of the indicators of redistribution of passenger flows by bus and minibus routes: the number of motive power on the routes, in accordance with the percentage of coincidence of the parameters of traffic regimes with the transport schemes. A list of measures has been drawn up, the integrated implementation of which will facilitate the development of a safe and convenient city-class bus route system.

This research investigates the anatomical structure of the calyx transverse section of 11 species of the Hedysarum genus from Central Asia. The analysis revealed that all species exhibit a more or less smooth or slightly convoluted upper surface and a lower surface with varying degrees of tuberculation. Regarding the mesophyll structure of the calyx, the studied species are mainly divided into two groups: in H. pumilum, H. severtzovii, H. micropterum, and H. wrightianum, the mesophyll is differentiated into lower palisade and upper spongy layers, which is considered an adaptive and progressive feature for the calyx; in other species, an undifferentiated mesophyll is observed, regarded as a primitive trait. Furthermore, the formation of large and giant idioblasts is characteristic of all studied species, located on the lower side of the calyx (directly beneath the lower epidermis), along with a 2-4-layered chlorenchyma beneath the upper epidermis, representing adaptive features.

Nowadays the genres eclecticism is so widespread that it is sometimes impossible to identify to which genre a work belongs. This situation, in turn, is reflected in the blurring of the frontiers between Highbrow and Lowbrow literature. Moreover, there are novels that contain some elements of Pulp fiction, and yet they do not belong to this type of literature. This situation is particularly topical with the works that open a series of sequels exploring the same theme or featuring the same protagonist, like the novel under our investigation. This research has proved that this novel contains artistic merit and cannot be referred to as Pop culture product, repeating the same stamp. Furthermore, we traced how the author’s concept of the archetypal notions of Angels and Demons was reflected in the novel. Thus, these results have been reached by implementing biographical approach in considering the writer’s literary career; historical approach in analyzing inaccuracies in depiction of the historical events; and mythological in tracing the reflection of the novelist’s archetypal concept. The benefits of this study include changing attitude to the literary heritage of the author and drawing more attention of scholars to the given novel.

Annotated checklist of the fishes of Nizhnevartovsk district

The confirmed fishes of Nizhnevartovsk district waters (Russia, Western Siberia, Khanty-Mansi autonomous okrug (district)) comprise 24 species in 19 genera, 10 families, 6 orders and 2 classes found in Middle Ob River basin. There are also 5 species whose presence in Nizhnevartovsk district waters needs confirmation by the described specimens. The most diverse order is the Cypriniformes with 11 confirmed species (45.9%) followed by Salmoniformes with 5 species (20.8%), Perciformes (3 species, 12.5%), Petromyzoniformes (2 species, 8.3%), Acipenseriformes (2 species, 8.3%) and Gadiformes with 1 species (4.2%). Of the 5 introduced species (including three require confirmation), the freshwater bream Abramis brama (Linnaeus, 1758) and the pike-perch Sander lucioperca (Linnaeus, 1758) naturalized and are constantly found.

Anomalies occurring in eggs in ovarian diseases in quails and ways of their prevention

Nowadays, people are suffering from food shortage. To meet the protein needs of people, meat and eggs of birds are of great importance. Among non-infectious diseases of quails in Azerbaijan, ovarian and oviduct pathologies are mainly observed. Ovarian pathologies are most often observed in ovaries of white English breed. Eggs obtained from them as a result of ovarian disease have no bark, are deformed, their weight is reduced, striped deposits are observed on the bark, and their ability to hatch is reduced. To prevent diseases of quails after 210 days use sodium salt of succinic acid, Aydagh zeolite, sprouted and enriched with ultraviolet rays wheat and Poly-Vital. Ovarian and oviduct diseases are prevented, and egg quality is improved.

Anthropogenic Impact on Nature in the Plains Along the Aras in the Nakhchivan

The article examines he changes that have taken place in the Nakhchivan by characterizing the anthropogenic factors affecting the natural landscape structures. In recent years, the anthropogenic dynamics of natural landscapes have accelerated by rapid population growth and the expansion of private farms. Also, the concept of nature protection and its efficient use makes the concept of landscape development (evolution) even more relevant. Anthropogenic, especially technogenic impacts on nature are manifested in both positive and negative forms in the longitudinal zone covering 32.9% of the territory of the Autonomous Republic. According to the dynamics of anthropogenic landscapes in the area can be classified as weakly altered, disturbed or strongly altered, and special cultural landscapes. We have also explored cultural landscapes as follows: 1. For high productivity and economic income; 2. According to human health and the optimality of the ecological environment; The first group includes areas covering the main agricultural crops of the Autonomous Republic, and the second group includes green areas, parks, recreation areas, and infrastructure serving the health of the population, etc. that have been expanding in recent years. The article also discusses environmental problems in the field of anthropogenic complexes, reproductive modifications, and their solutions. In the end, the causes of anthropogenization, the problems encountered the analysis of them in accordance with the physical and geographical conditions, the ways to solve them on a scientific basis, a number of recommendations and suggestions were made.

Anti-Caries and Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Salt in the Oral Cavity

Dental caries is a chronic, multifactorial, biofilm-mediated disease caused by the imbalance between demineralization and remineralization in the oral environment. Acidogenic microorganisms such as Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacillus spp., and Actinomyces spp. metabolize fermentable carbohydrates into organic acids, lowering local pH below the critical threshold (≈5.5). This acidic environment dissolves hydroxyapatite crystals (Ca₁₀(PO₄)₆(OH)₂), releasing Ca²⁺ and PO₄³⁻ ions from the enamel matrix. Remineralization is a complex physicochemical process in which Ca²⁺, PO₄³⁻, and F⁻ ions are redeposited in subsurface enamel under neutral or mildly alkaline conditions. Sodium chloride (NaCl) contributes to oral stability by neutralizing residual acids, regulating osmotic balance, and modulating ionic strength, indirectly reducing the metabolic activity and acidogenic potential of cariogenic microorganisms. Naturally mineralized salts enriched with Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, and K⁺ support enamel regeneration by promoting ionic diffusion, enhancing crystal lattice reformation, and maintaining salivary electrolyte dynamics. In regions with salt fluoridation programs (e.g., Mexico, Switzerland, Tanzania), substitution of hydroxyl (OH⁻) groups in hydroxyapatite with fluoride ions forms fluorapatite (Ca₁₀(PO₄)₆F₂), a crystalline phase with enhanced acid resistance and lower solubility. Isotonic saline mouth rinses also exhibit antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects through osmotic plasmolysis of microbial cells, reduction of inflammatory mediators, and stabilization of the oral microbiome. These findings indicate that mineral- and fluoride-enriched salts are biocompatible, cost-effective, and accessible therapeutic agents for preventing and managing dental caries.
