This paper explores the challenges faced in teaching critical thinking to Chinese students, including aspects such as cultural traditions, the education system, teacher competence, and student psychology. It proposes solutions such as constructing a critical thinking education system, optimizing curriculum design, enhancing teacher capabilities, creating an open learning environment, and strengthening practical application. The paper emphasizes that continuous effort and innovation are essential for successfully cultivating critical thinking. In the future, critical thinking education is expected to play an increasingly important role in China’s educational reforms, becoming a key element in developing students’ comprehensive abilities.
