This article analyzes the life and creativity of the well-known manastchi (bard) of the Kyrgyz people Sayakbai Karalaev. Sayakbai Karalaev was a bearer of a unique skill which is a great phenomenon for the scholars of all times, being a person who contained hundreds of thousands of lines from the boundless ocean like the Epic of Manas.
