Shiff bases and metal complexes have been synthesied by the condensation of 2-hidroxi- naftaldehyde and 3-aminoprophanol.The structure of the synthesied compounds assigned on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, HNMR spectral studies.All the products were evaluated for their in vitro antimicrobial activity against various strains of bacteria and fungi.
