The article analyzes the role of social entrepreneurship (SE) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in shaping business strategies based on the principles of sustainable development (SD). The significance of integrating CSR to address social, environmental, and economic challenges is highlighted. The approaches of companies in the USA and Azerbaijan to implementing sustainable practices, including legislative and corporate initiatives, are examined. A comparative analysis is presented, revealing cultural, economic, and political differences in CSR approaches. The prospects for integrating global SD standards into corporate strategies are noted. The article concludes that the successful development of CSR is possible through collaboration between businesses, governments, and society.

One of the most important areas of the economy is logistics. This direction is also important for any business entity and at this stage it is rapidly developing and being modernized. Globalization has led many companies to outsource their logistics functions to third-party logistics companies (3PL) in order to focus on their core competencies. The article identifies the features of using 3PL services, identifies and classifies the main disadvantages faced by 3PL companies. Logistics services have evolved and changed over time, especially when hiring them according to the concepts of 3PL (third-party logistics), 4PL (fourth-party logistics) or insourcing logistics. Moreover, the structure of an innovative approach to the organization of logistics processes in a large international competition is considered.

Towards sustainable rural development through organic horticulture adoption by the Kyrgyz farmers

The main purpose of the study is to explore the challenges and potential the Kyrgyz farmers could experience towards the adoption of organic agriculture. In the selected case the adoption performance of the farmers in the Kyrgyz Republic in relation to organic agriculture is studied by applying the innovation adoption or diffusion model. The research methods used are the descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. The study findings demonstrate that the adoption model is able to explore the challenges and potential the farmers could face towards the adoption of organic agriculture. One of the conclusions is that the main challenges to the farmers to adopt organic agriculture are to meet the product quality and certification requirements.

Trends and global practices in attracting foreign direct investment

This paper examines the contemporary trends and future prospects of foreign direct investment (FDI) flows in the context of increasing global instability and economic risks. The relevance of this study is underscored by the profound impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical tensions and the introduction of global tax reforms on FDI dynamics. The primary objective is to analyze the shifts in FDI flows from 2000 to 2023, identifying key factors influencing these changes, particularly during crises such as the 2008-2009 economic downturn, the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The methodology is grounded in quantitative analysis of FDI data sourced from UNCTAD and OECD databases, supplemented by comparative and dynamic analyses based on global investment reports and indices of FDI confidence. The scientific novelty of the paper lies in the synthesis of data on FDI in the context of increasing global uncertainty and the changing strategies of investing and recipient countries. It emphasizes emerging factors, including the implementation of global minimum taxes, the rise of digital and green investments and the reassessment of developing economies as viable investment destinations. The findings reveal that global FDI flows remain volatile, significantly influenced by various external factors. Despite a recovery post-pandemic, the current geopolitical and economic landscape - exemplified by the conflict in Ukraine and global tax reforms - continues to reshape investment strategies and capital flows. Developing economies are increasingly pivotal in attracting FDI, particularly in sectors aligned with sustainable development and digitalization. Recommendations for recipient countries include enhancing legislative and financial frameworks to attract green and sustainable investments. Developed nations are advised to focus on creating conditions for localizing production, reducing global supply chains and lowering tax barriers. In light of the growing significance of digital technologies, it is crucial for countries to advance national programs supporting digitalization and technological innovation. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of FDI trends in a rapidly changing economic environment offering valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in both developed and developing nations.

Triple Constraint в ивент-менеджменте: баланс сроков, бюджета и качества

В статье рассматривается проблема совершенствования управления проектами в ивент-индустрии через призму применения концепции triple constraint. Актуальность исследования определяется высокой динамикой внешней среды ивент-индустрии и необходимостью эффективного балансирования между традиционными ограничениями проектов в условиях высокой неопределенности. Показано, что специфика проектов в сфере ивент-менеджмента заключается в невозможности переноса сроков реализации, высокой чувствительности бюджета к внешним изменениям и особой роли субъективного восприятия качества мероприятия. В работе обоснована необходимость интеграции управления сроками, бюджетом и качеством в единую систему проектного планирования и мониторинга. Представлены направления и способы реализации модели triple constraint в управлении ивент-проектами. Сделаны выводы о том, что эффективное управление ограничениями в ивент-менеджменте требует учета особенностей ивент-менеджмента, предупреждения отклонений и построения системы контроля.
