Exchange rate policy is one of the important measures of national monetary policy. The devaluation of the domestic currency may boost exports and improve the balance of payments, but that can only happen in certain conditions and affect differently each different commodity. In an open economy, the real exchange rate affects commodity prices between domestic production and imports. Rate can also directly affects on inflation due to price changes measured by local currency of imported goods and thereby influences the price index. Generally, when changing in the exchange rate leads to the change in supply - demand for foreign currency in the market, thereby it affects on macroeconomic variables such as important national income; inflationary; unemployment and balance of international payments. Consequently, operating efficiency rate policies plays an important role in managing the general macroeconomic and monetary policy of Vietnam. Especially, in current period, exchange rate policies is even more important when Vietnam has been trying to recover and stabilize the economy after the crisis since 2007, especially implementing restructuring econoomy plans with the objective to control inflation, stabilize the macro-economy, ensure high economic growth at 6.5-7% in the current period. Therefore, the monitoring of changes in exchange rates, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of the operation of the exchange rate policy of the National Bank of Vietnam is a topic that is the people, businesses and the government is very interested. Especially in the current conditions the world economy is more volatile, unpredictable, could potentially negative impacts on Vietnam''s economy.

The objective of this paper is to analyze actual convergence within the WAEMU zone. It will favor a better understanding of the evolution and impact of harmonization policies through the integration structure within this zone. It turns out that actual convergence in WAEMU countries could constitute an effective means of combating poverty and further strengthening the integration process within the zone. This convergence will also undoubtedly enable African authorities in general, and WAEMU authorities in particular, to strengthen or improve integration policies with a view to harmonized development, thereby addressing the economic and financial difficulties of the zone's member states.

Financial lease is one of the most useful and valuable tools for stimulating real sector of economy like agriculture, construction or healthcare. Moreover, it helps to overcome a gap between financial institutions and production industry by providing convenient, flexible and less risky channel of financing. There is no need for additional collateral, since leasing object itself serves as collateral; moreover, in combination with longer terms of repayment it creates favorable conditions for SMEs development as well as development of poor countries and countries with transitional economies. Leasing is considered as one of the best tools for stimulation of real economy and financial sector; however it has not been become widespread in the Kyrgyz Republic. In order to fully understand the problems of leasing implementation in Kyrgyzstan it is necessary to examine its legal base concerning the leasing regulation.

Russian military-industrial complex: development under sanctions restrictions

Imposition of sanctions restrictions had a negative impact on the leading sectors of the Russian economy, slowing down their progressive development. It affected the Russian military-industrial complex, which is one of the most high-tech segments of the Russian economy. The article solves the problem of assessing the impact of sanctions restrictions on the Russian military-industrial complex and substantiates the importance of implementing import substitution programs for its innovative development. Research materials were obtained from open sources of the Russian press. To analyze and generalize them, authors used the methods of an integrated approach, statistical and economic analysis, comparison of indicators and others. As a result of the research, it was found that the introduction of sanctions restrictions initially created certain problems for the normal functioning of many industrial enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex. However, subsequently, they essentially gave a purposeful impetus to its innovative development through the implementation of import substitution programs and other modern organizational and economic mechanisms. Their implementation and introduction into the activities of industrial enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex opens up additional opportunities for the development of new industries, creates new jobs and increases the employment of the able-bodied population of the country.

Security, political stability, and economic growth in West Africa: a dynamic analysis of the WAEMU countries

This article empirically assesses the impact of political stability and security efforts on economic growth within the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) over the period 2000-2021. Using a dynamic panel model estimated by the two-stage GMM method, we find that political stability has a strong positive effect on growth, while the impact of security efforts depends on their nature: military personnel negatively affects growth, whereas military spending has a positive effect in contexts of acute insecurity. Furthermore, social inclusion policies (measured by the EPIP index) appear to be a significant and robust driver of economic performance. These results underscore the need to integrate security, institutional stability, and social equity within a coherent framework for sustainable economic growth in WAEMU countries.

This paper examines a key stage of audit and analysis of financial statements - the selection and substantiation of a benchmark for calculating the materiality level. The correct benchmark directly determines the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit, as well as the scope of planned audit procedures. Special consideration is given to the criteria for selecting the most relevant benchmark from financial reporting. The practical value of the study is illustrated using the example of calculating the materiality level for JSC Holding Company Novotrans. The results confirm that the developed approach contributes to enhancing the efficiency of audit procedures and the quality of the auditor’s opinion.

Based on the above data and analysis, the author suggests that China is interested in cooperation with Africa to obtain a stable source of energy resources, as well as for support at the level of international organizations in exchange for Chinese investments and technologies.
