В статье приведен обширный обзор литературных данных, посвященных исследова-нию особенностей биохимического состава и биологической активности шиповника, дано обоснование лечебно-профилактических свойств растения в зависимости от содержания биоактивных веществ. Рассмотрены перспективы применения данного сырья в медицинс-кой и пищевой промышленности.
