Formation of students’ reading competence in English lessons

The relevance of the problem of the formation of reader's competence increases for successful socialization and implementation in the modern information world, students must learn to navigate the flow of information, and for this to be able to: independently read works, express value judgments about what they read, independently choose sources of information, work with various types of books (dictionaries, reference books), periodicals (magazines, newspapers), Internet sources, perceive and transmit information from various types of texts, determine (predict) the content of the text by elements, use information from the text for productive activities. In this regard, this article is devoted to the theoretical aspects of the formation of reading competence among students in English lessons. The task of the modern education system is not only the development of specific subject knowledge and skills within individual disciplines, but also a set of universal educational activities. Universal learning activities are both the result of the educational process and the conditions for the assimilation of knowledge, skills and competencies. One of these universal learning activities is reading. Mastering reading at different stages of learning contributes to the development of both intellectual and emotional and moral spheres of personality. This problem is relevant recently, thanks to computers and various "gadgets", the status of reading and the attitude towards it have changed a lot. The formation of students' reading competence in general, and within the framework of the subject "English" in particular, is one of the priorities and integral components of the educational process in an educational organization.

The main vectors of social and economic progress of Belarus in the medium term are considered to be increasing the welfare of the population, reducing poverty on the basis of rapid financial and economic recovery and increasing the competitiveness of the state. They found their place in the program of socio-economic development of our country until 2020. To implement these tasks, we need the continuation of institutional reforms, implementation of top-priority national projects in healthcare, education, provide housing for the population and progress of the agricultural sector, creating a positive climate for investment, restructuring the economy, modernization of the industrial complex and the activation of innovative work that will ensure significant and sustained financial and economic growth. This will require the creation of an effective financial and economic system based on equal competition, reducing the interference of state bodies in the work of economic entities and increasing the competitiveness of people, government agencies and business.

Formation of tolerant competence of junior classes on the basis of folk pedagogy

The article examines the meaning and significance of tolerance in human life and behavior, as well as the formation of tolerant competencies in junior schoolchildren on the basis of folk pedagogy. The studies were conducted by researchers who consider tolerance to be an important personality value. The functions and types of tolerance in society have been identified. According to the results, it was found that in the process of teaching children's songs in elementary school, using the rich experience of folk pedagogy, students have an excellent opportunity to develop ethnocultural competence, including tolerance.

Games, through the use of active methods in the educational process, engage students and enable them to deepen their knowledge. The article analyzes the main types of didactic games and how they help enhance students' vocabulary, logical thinking, and creativity. In increasing students' lexical knowledge, games play a crucial role in teaching correct word usage and ensuring grammatical accuracy in speech. Moreover, games are beneficial in developing teamwork, using essential linguistic techniques, and fostering creative thinking, thus boosting interest and motivation in language learning. Didactic games offer great potential in the educational process to help develop students' speech.

Frame analysis in fictional text

The article deals with the problems of frame semantics, the notion of frame as a complex knowledge structure represented at the conceptual level and encoded in language. The article considers the possibility of applying frame analysis in cognitive interpretation of words, grammatical categories and forms, and literary text. It is emphasized that frame analysis being applied in fictional text analysis helps to decode implicit conceptual meanings represented in the text by certain frame.

In the period from 2017 to 2022, ciliated protozoa and testate amoebae were studied in freshwater ecosystems of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. 110 species of ciliates and 65 species of amoebae were identified. The species diversity of ciliates in freshwater is almost twice as high as in soil. The differences in species diversity between aquatic and soil amoebae are relatively small. The need for standardization of the methods used by researchers is emphasized. Further studies of these groups of protozoa are necessary to obtain more accurate conclusions about their ecological role, relationships, and their importance in various biological processes.

The focus of this article is on a type of discourse that is central to any culture - the gluttonous discourse (gastronomic discourse), which aims to achieve communication in relation to historical, religious-ethnic and other aspects of the eating process between different peoples. Intercultural communication and translation are challenged by differences in established gastronomic norms. The techniques translators encounter when translating gluttonous texts are discussed in this article.

This article examines Lesson Study as a practical and sustainable tool for shifting from passive to active learning. It explores how research-oriented lesson planning, focus students, pedagogical hypotheses, formative assessment, and descriptive observation make student learning visible and analyzable. The article argues that active learning emerges not from specific methods, but from systematic inquiry into how students engage with tasks and supports.

Данная статья посвящена современным инструментам веб-программирования. При разработке веб-приложений многие сталкиваются с такими понятиями как front-end и back-end. Эти два понятия появились вследствие развития принципа разделения ответственности у программистов. Хотя эти два понятия различны, но работать друг без друга не смогут. Они дополняют друг друга. Front-end разработка занимается внешним видом веб-приложения, с которым работает пользователь, а back-end разработка направлена на работу с пользовательской информацией, получаемой из front-end. В целом, обе стороны разработки важны и нужны, они должны работать вместе.

Fruit trees pests and pest control

Currently, pests cause great harm to fruit trees. 22 pests damaging fruit trees were identified and their species composition was determined. Some of them, under favorable conditions, multiply abundantly and damage the fruits, trunks, roots, branches and leaves of trees. In gardens, depending on the number of species, biological characteristics, harmfulness and nature of damage, the following activities can be carried out: 1) agrotechnical; 2) physical and mechanical; 3) biological methods. In recent years, much attention has been paid to the use of predominantly biological methods in pest control. Chemical methods of pest control have lost their effectiveness in recent years. This is due to the fact that in the course of the fight against this or that pest, hundreds and thousands of beneficial insects also disappear in nature. Not only that, but the birds that feed on them, etc., the animals are also poisoned, and their numbers are decreasing.

The article is devoted to the actual problems of the modern Kyrgyz language. The main object of the research is the study of the semantics of symbolic gestures and the facial expressions of a literary text in the linguistic aspect. Semantics of symbolic gestures and facial expressions in the literary text in the transmission of information is analyzed on the basis of the example of an excerpt of the texts of the Broken Sword novel by T. Kasymbekov. The results of the study based on the interpretation of symbolic national facial expressions and gestures in the linguistic aspect.

Fungal Diseases Tolerance Studies of Potato Genotypes

The article is devoted to the study of fungal diseases tolerance of potato samples and discusses the major potato diseases worldwide: late blight, early blight and powdery scab. During the research, the effects of fungal diseases on the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the plant, some physiological parameters, and pest characteristics were studied. In the studied varieties, the dynamics of specific leaf mass and biomorphological indicators increase in during ontogenesis depend not only on the developmental phase and genotypic characteristics of the plants, but also on the state of diseases infected. The article states that the highest overall incidence was against late blight, with relative resistance to powdery scab, this is due to the nature of the pathogens. During the study, it was determined as a result of biomorphological indicators in the selected samples introduced from selection centers and local potato genotypes for their resistance to late blight, early blight and powdery scab of that the plants were 43-63 cm tall and quantity of stem were 1-3. The difference between the specific leaf mass of the control and experimental variants in the varieties taken during the study was comparable across the study years and development phases. Complex control measures based on high agricultural technology methods are more effective in reducing the risk of potato diseases and preventing their development. Studies have shown that the main methods of protecting potatoes from diseases are the cultivation of resistant varieties, optimal planting dates, and the use of mineral fertilizers and chemical plant protection products.

Представлен краткий обзор изменений и дополнений, внесенных в пересмотр GINA (Global Strategy for Asthma Management and Prevention) от 2024 г. Приведены алгоритмы диагностики и терапии БА у детей в новой версии GINA в сопоставлении с данными кыргызского клинического протокола по БА, изданного в 2023 г. На основе рекомендаций GINA в Кыргызстане будут реализованы ряд организационных, научных и клинико-диагностических мероприятий. К примеру, на базе отделения аллергологии и клинической иммунологии Национального центра охраны материнства и детства при Министерстве здравоохранения Кыргызской Республики будет создана научно-исследовательская лаборатория по аллергологии, в том числе кабинет генно-инженерной биологической терапии.
