The article is devoted to the problem of ‘gadget addiction’ on the basis of the experiment which involved the subject’s survival without electronic devices, e.g., smartphone, iPod, laptop, etc. The study describes the subject’s life changes throughout four stages of the experiment. The aim of the research is to help parents and teachers cope with the problem of gadget addiction in children.

Gender predisposition to narcissism: stereotype or fact?

The present paper is devoted to the gender aspect of narcissism in students. We interviewed students (329 men and 329 women aged 18 to 21 years old), from different regions of Russia, who profess different religions on a 6-item NARQ (modified). We carried out a statistical analysis using the F-Fisher criterion, which showed significant differences between men and women for all 6 evaluation criteria. We came to the conclusion that in the modern world, men aged 18 to 21 years are more prone to narcissism than women of the same age group.

Рассмотрены особенности организации учебного процесса по дисциплине «Физическая культура» при введении фитнес-программ в учебный процесс. В эксперименте принимали участие 20 студенток. Занятия проводились по различным видам фитнес-программ. Установлено, что учебная дисциплина «Физическая культура» может быть расширена и дополнена с учетом регионально-территориальных, социокультурных, климатических факторов, особенностей подготовки профессиональных кадров, материально-технических условий.

How hard is it to come out in Russia?

Coming-out is a complex structure that requires psychological readiness. The study is devoted to the problem of the social attitude to individuals with non-traditional sexual orientation after the coming out. The article provides a content analysis of the interviews with the five respondents aged from 18 to 22 years old. The author comes to the conclusion that the coming-out and the response of the society have had an impact on the respondents’ wellbeing.

В статье рассмотрено появление и дальнейшее развитие инновационного и актуального способа финансирования стартап-проектов - ICO. Проведен небольшой сравнительный анализ двух форм привлечения инвестиций в стартапы - классического венчурного капитала и инновационного финансового инструмента - ICO. Сделан вывод о дальнейшей перспективности ICO, неугасающем и возрастающем интересе к нему, а также о постепенном формировании профессионального сообщества криптоинвесторов, в связи с более строгим регулированием рынка ICO многими государствами.
