Survey and Thinking on Entrepreneurship education of Local College Students

The economic and social development is not only in demand of job hunters who fit in with certain positions but also needs badly the job creators who develop new job opportunities through setting up their own business. The popularization of higher education has put forward new requirements on traditional application talents. According to this, to carry out the entrepreneurial education in the universities becomes a proposition of the current era. Under the influence of entrepreneurship education tide in foreign and domestic universities, how to effectively carry out entrepreneurial education, especially how the choice of entrepreneurial education mode can embody the pertinence, adaptability, uniqueness and effectiveness becomes a worth exploring topic for the local universities. Research has shown that, after extensive use, digital devices like computers often suffer performance declines, and some even experience sudden, complete breakdowns without warning. This phenomenon is particularly disturbing for individuals who heavily rely on these devices to carry out critical tasks. Although researchers have extensively probed the causes of computer breakdowns, detailed parameters influencing the lifespan of computers remain underexplored. This paper, therefore, aims to estimate the probability associated with the continuous functioning or failure of a computer system over a specified duration, and to examine risk factors associated with failure. Delving into the mysteries of computer longevity, data on 100 computers in a designated lab at an academic environment were examined. Data was drawn from maintenance records as well as in-depth hardware assessments. Analysis revealed that, after a 4-year period of active usage, 73 of the computers remained operational, while 27 had malfunctioned. Survival analysis methods were employed to determine the probability of computers failing at specific points in time and to identify various factors contributing to early computer failure. The findings disclosed that at the two-year mark, the probability of computers remaining operational is 80%, decreasing to 62% at the three-year juncture. The median survival time was established at 3 years and 4 months. Furthermore, an analysis of causative factors revealed that computers with faulty motherboards and power supply units associates with a lower rate of survival, while computers with issues of hard drives, operating systems, and miscellaneous components has a higher rate of survival. This study provides comprehensive data-driven evidence that offers insights on the need to implement maintenance strategies to proactively extend the lifespan of computers.

Tag Recommendation Based on Collaborative Filtering and Text Similarity

In current social tagging system, users can freely add tags for the uploaded resources, which caused a problem that many tags could not describe the resource properly and even have some spelling errors. This problem may bring unnecessary troubles for other users who want to search this kind of resource. In this paper, a tag recommendation system based on collaborative filtering and text similarity is presented to solve the problem mentioned above. This system can automatically recommend some relevant tags for the new uploaded resources and thus the users can freely select tags from the system. Experimental results show that the recommended tags can effectively represent the contents of the webpages marked. Compared with the existing tag recommended methods, this method not only improves the accuracy of tags recommended, but also facilitates the webpage sharing and retrieval.

TakeXIR:a Type-Ahead Keyword Search Xml Information Retrieval System

As XML (eXtensible Markup Language) is becoming a standard widely applied in data representation and data exchange in web service. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to type-ahead keyword search in XML data, call TakeXIR. The IR-style approach basically utilizes the statistics of underlying XML data to address the following challenges in XML IR system: (1) Identify the user search intention, i.e. identify the keywords to express user interests and identify nodes user wants to search for and search via. (2) Resolve keyword ambiguity problems: synonyms and polysemy exist in natural language, and a keyword can appear as the text values or tag value of different XML node and carry different meanings.

Teaching Assessment Tool: Using AI and Secure Techniques

Most of the schools uses a school diary for communication between parent and teacher. But using this method has many limitations. In this paper we have researched about the various factors as to why this type of communication is not effective and why we should switch to digital communication. We have also reviewed our android mobile application ‘Guide N Grow’, which is used for digital communication between parents, school and teachers. By using this system, any school can make the communication between parent and teacher more effective. Parents can take care of their child’s academics and can also get the regular updates from the school. Due to the use of this system they can take their child’s performance at a good level. By considering all these factors one can make a school to a smart school.

Text Analyzer for Competitive Examination

Competitive examination provide a platform to the user for gauging their verbal and literature skills. The tools available currently only provide some simple feature regarding text processing such as spelling correction and providing different synonyms of the selected words. A complete assessment is not done for the user’s abilities and relevant details related to the context are not taken entirely into consideration. The following paper proposes a way to implement Natural Language Processing on text to provide feedback to the user for their competitive examinations. The assessment of the text will be done according to the parameter such as grammar, vocabulary; relevance to the context. Some applications for web and mobile platform are available to offer assessment of English language essay but limited academic research available to validate research work in this domain. This work is effort to address requirement of text analyzer for English language evaluation methods incorporating natural language processing.

Text Steganography using Daily Emotions Monitoring

Early in 2008, it was emphasized that sending messages through public networks will draw the attention of third parties such as attackers, perhaps causing attempts to break and reveal messages. Thus, cryptography was initially used to send a text message by producing cipher text. Although cryptography provides confidentiality for sent message, but the cipher text that is generated appears nonsense for the attacker, which leads to being identified as the sensitive information. In order to overcome this problem, this paper introduces a novel mobile steganography technique, based on using emoticons to deliver sensitive information as a daily emotion monitoring application. Based on achieved result, 88 characters can be embedded and sent to the recipient successfully in a hidden way.

Text Summarization using QA Corpus for User Interaction Model QA System

Document summarization is capable of generating user query relevant, precise summaries from the original document for user needs. To reduce the response time summary generation, QA corpus is built for similar questions and answer with help of learning model. It has been trained and tested by Quora duplicate and Yahoo! Answer datasets. The large QA corpus has been dynamically clustered with semantic features paves a way for efficient document’s retrieval. Answers are produced from datasets or generate summaries for unanswerable from the available sources. Results obtained from statistical significance test with hypothesis testing and evaluation with standard metrics proves the significant improvement in generating text summarization using QA corpus. The outcome is better in the producing close proximity of answers for the given user query.

The AHP Model of Evaluation on Quality-Oriented Education in College English Teaching

And the computing results show that "classroom learning" is the most important, followed by "extra-curricular study", "English contests", "student research", "social practice", "teaching staff", "academic seminars", "teaching facilities", "community activities", which will be helpful to the reform of college English teaching.

The Application of Computer Graphics Technology in Optical Teaching

The Application of Computer Softwares in Chemistry Teaching

This paper seeks to introduce some implications of computer softwares in chemistry classroom teaching. These softwares include Powerpoint, Chemoffice, computer simulation softwares, LabVIEW software, some computational chemistry softwares, and other chemistry softwares, such as ACD/ChemSketch, ChemDB software, Chemical Reagent Calculator, Atom Builder and Atoms, Symbols and Equations. We gave the simple directions of these softwares and presented some applicable examples.

By studying the simulated process of teacher-to-teacher assessment, the article elaborates on the scientificity and objectiveness of the application of AHP in assessing teachers’ comprehensive working performance. Through computer programming, AHP is put into practice in the field of scientifically assessing teachers’ working performance. Furthermore, it argues for the application of database in managing and assessing data as well as computer software in evaluating and calculating. Reverse thinking as a common way of thinking has been recognized in course teaching of higher education , but it is only mainly applied in the traditional subjects and rarely used in the professional course teaching of educational technology. The Application of “3S” (GIS, RS and GPS) Technology to the Study of China FangZhen Period

This paper sets out to explore the potential of “3S” (GIS, RS and GPS) technology in the area of historical geography studies in particular. During the later years of Tang dynasty the most of lands between Yellow River and Yangtze River suffered a chaotic juxtaposition of separatist regimes, i.e., FangZhen. By using relevant vector data, GPS data and remote sensing satellite imaginary on the appropriate platform of GIS, we improved the quality and accuracy of scientific studies of FangZhen Period much more than before. Tang FangZhen Information System, a focused custom GIS system, has also been developed here to explore the formation and development of FangZhen. GIS processes such as area, point and line representation and tracing, image/feature/script hotlinking and thematic representation are perfect to trace and display historical data across space.

The Assertive Profile of the Bulgarian Students in Computer Science and Computer Engineering

The main purpose is to study the assertive profile of Bulgarian students in computer science and computer engineering by analyzing the components of assertiveness. Research was performed using testing methods. It was found that the level of expressivity of this personal quality among subjects were above-average level.

The Attendance Management System Based on Micro-cellular and GIS technology

This paper puts forward the composition of geospatial information and its definition. The author designed and implemented the attendance management system based on Micro-cellular and the geographic information system(GIS) technology. The function of the geographic information system(GIS) was achieved by transforming Japan Geographical Survey Institute's Digital Map 2,500 base plate data into G-XML data. The function of location information system was accomplished according to micro-cellular mobile terminal-in the GIS's Real-time positioning and tracks. At last, the attendance management system based on micro-cellular and GIS technology was implemented by comparing the work schedule with the mobile tracks of its related mobile handheld terminals.
