The article dwells on effectiveness of video materials for foreign language teachings. It is noted that the usage of e-manuals and materials are targeted at several stages in the course of complementing the content of lesson. In is concluded that students evaluate the completed assignment while hearing the phrases actually pronounced by the orator. The author of the article lays an emphasis upon the idea that students take special interest in classes resorting to e-manuals and video materials, on the whole.

In today’s highly globalized economy, transport and logistics play an important role in value creation and national competitiveness. Transport and logistics industry of Russia is a growing sector that strongly influences the economic performance of all the others. For the transport and logistics specialists, it is essential nowadays to be able to coordinate negotiations, communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and business partners in the professional settings, interpret the documentation involved in the transportation of goods, such as insurance contracts and customs information that are commonly found in English. Thus, university graduates apart from the occupation-specific knowledge need to be equipped with the right English language skills determined by the ongoing development of cross-border transportation networks. The current paper aims at presenting the English language skills required most in the transport and logistics industry. The author also provides an example of how higher education institutions meet the challenges of the changeable requirements of the industry.

This article describes the features of using one of the most effective methods used in biology lessons in the educational process - a physiological experiment. Data on the organization, methods and effectiveness of this experiment were analyzed. The types and locations of physiological experiments, the duration and the expected results from these experiments are described. Topics are given for use in the educational process by sections and levels of difficulty. The advantages of using various experiments are described, as well as examples of experiments taking into account age characteristics. The importance of using experiments at different stages of learning is revealed, including the very initial stages of teaching biology and subsequent stages, taking into account the difficulties that may arise in the process of teaching biology. The purpose of this article is to reveal important points in organizing, conducting and evaluating a physiological school experiment and introducing new research methods into school education.

The labor market having been analyzed, it was revealed that competency in a foreign language is considered to be a prerequisite for a candidate to get a prestigious position. The study has been conducted to identify the importance of studying foreign languages from the point of view of graduates and that of employers. Relevant findings have been made according to the results of the study.

The article deals with the problem of foreign language real use teaching. Among teaching approaches the concept a scenario is considered one of the most effective methods (based on Strategic Interaction developed by Robert Di Pietro, University of Delaware, USA). In this aspect “Engineering” students’ book by Lindsay White gives a good example of the most suitable tasks on the foreign language real use for future engineers. The authors come to the conclusion that the scenario teaching approach proves to be an effective way of developing communication skills for real social and professional use by the representatives of non-language faculties.

The article reveals the theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation of key competencies of future mathematics teachers in the context of integrated learning. The relevance of integrating mathematical disciplines with other fields of knowledge is substantiated in order to enhance the professional training of educators. The content of the concepts "key competencies" and "integrated learning" is defined, and the main components of the competency-based approach in the training of future teachers are highlighted. Special attention is paid to the development of pedagogical conditions that contribute to the effective formation of such competencies as information and communication, methodological, research, analytical, and communicative. The paper proposes effective forms and methods of integrative learning, as well as interdisciplinary practical tasks aimed at developing professionally significant qualities of future educators. It is concluded that the integration of the content of academic disciplines contributes not only to the deepening of subject knowledge but also to the formation of future teachers' readiness for innovative pedagogical activity, critical thinking, and professional mobility.

The article reveals an urgent problem in the study of self-control skills in hearing-impaired children in the preschool education system. The characteristics of the state of certain aspects of pronunciation and intelligible speech of preschool children are considered. The definition of self-control over pronunciation in the hearing impaired and the stages of its formation are given. The directions of work on improving pronunciation training for hearing-impaired preschoolers have been clarified in order to form their self-control skills over pronunciation. The article describes the benefits of early integration of hearing-impaired preschool children into the environment with normally developing peers for successful formation and subsequent consolidation of the skill of self-control over pronunciation.

This article explores the impact of AI-generated curricula tailored to industry needs on student motivation and engagement in higher education. By applying Self-Determination Theory (SDT), the study assesses how AI-driven educational tools influence students' psychological needs for autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The research employs a quantitative methodology, surveying undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students on their satisfaction with current curricula and their perceptions of AI's potential role in curriculum design. The findings reveal that students, particularly at the bachelor's and master's levels, are not fully satisfied with their curriculum's alignment with job market needs. This dissatisfaction indicates a desire for more personalized, industry-oriented educational pathways. The article argues that AI-generated curricula could address these gaps by offering dynamic, individualized learning experiences that foster intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The study concludes that implementing AI in curriculum design has the potential to enhance student engagement and better prepare students for future careers, provided it is thoughtfully integrated with pedagogical strategies.

This article examines the role of the concept of "childhood" in the educational process and emphasizes the necessity of its implementation and verbalization. Through an exploration of common means of representing this concept, based on the use of collocation dictionaries, dictionaries of antonyms and synonyms, the author identifies lexical groups of words and gives their methodological representation. Of particular note is the author's attention to the use of mind maps as an effective method of visualizing new information in the educational process.

A self-learning is an indispensable form of learning that helps students get success in their studies. This article is aimed at students' self-learning ability in practicing English with the support of information technology, specifically the social learning network Edmodo. The survey was conducted with 256 non-English major students at the Thai Nguyen University of Education, Viet Nam. The research results show that self-learning ability is one of the main factors of the communicative method used in teaching foreign languages. The use of Edmodo has helped to improve students' self-learning ability, motivate them to actively learn and practise English in a responsible and effective way.

This article presents a technique for teaching listening comprehension that combines cooperative learning with strategic learning. It assigns learners to pairs or small groups, and then gets them to cooperate in comprehending the message of a recorded speech. While listening, the learners employ some strategies and keep them in mind so they can later share them with their classmates after listening. The results of this activity are a range of strategies used by students with a variety of learning styles. This article also discusses the steps in the cooperative listening technique and the advantages of this approach. These new techniques focus more on training learners to utilize effective strategies for listening to spoken messages. These strategies are best learned in an environment of cooperative learning which enables students to work jointly with their classmates to comprehend spoken discourse and then benefit each other by sharing the strategies they employed during the listening.

The role of each of the components is analyzed on the example of solving the problem of forming the communicative foreign language competence of future engineers. The author comes to the conclusion that the relationship of knowledge, skills and abilities determines the need to choose a personal-activity approach in the development of foreign language competence at non-linguistic faculties of higher educational institutions.
