On the relevance of studying the topical unit "Art" in the senior classes of the Russian school

The article emphasizes the need to preserve the practice of studying and its expansion within the framework of the curriculum when the students master the topical unit “art” in the senior grades of the Russian school, which will make possible a more effective and sustainable formation of sociocultural competence in the process of the students’ acquiring a foreign language, English in particular. The author of the article describes how viewing various works of art in English lessons can enhance the development of empathy, critical thinking and an understanding of the complex nature of the correlation between art, culture and society. The importance of the lexical aspect when learning a foreign language is emphasized, and examples of the most effective types of exercises for introduction into the educational process at school are given.

The rapid development of information technology and the daily use of the Internet have influenced the growth of written communication. Teaching the correct writing of academic essays and articles has become part of formal formal instruction. Today, the essay is offered as an assignment quite often. High school students are taught to structure their essays to improve their writing skills. In both middle and high school, essays are used to assess mastery and understanding of the material. Students are asked to analyze, explain, comment, or evaluate a research topic in the form of an academic essay letter. Teaching the correct writing of an essay is necessary so that students write better work, for a deeper understanding of the topic. Writing an essay is effective because it allows the author to learn how to clearly and competently formulate thoughts, structure information, use basic concepts, use basic concepts, illustrate experience with examples, and argue their conclusions. This article is devoted to the structural study of the question of the structure and structure of the essay.

An attempt is made to prove that all the principles considered are interrelated, mutually dependent and complement each other, presenting a system of provisions that determine the learning strategy. Therefore, following the methodology of communicative teaching and foreign language culture presupposes compliance with all these principles in the system of philological education.

A foreign language as a means of communication, cognition, a way of receiving and storing information predetermines the need to own all types of speech activity. In the context of the integration of Azerbaijani universities into the European space, knowledge and knowledge of English, especially the development of speaking skills, is of paramount importance. One of the problems of fluency in English is the lack of an appropriate language environment. To overcome difficulties in this area, it becomes necessary to apply a certain strategy that promotes productive mastering of oral communication skills. For this purpose, the use of such techniques as leading questions, pictures, entering unfamiliar vocabulary, listening to CDs for textbooks, watching movies with subtitles seems appropriate. Based on the existing difficulties in mastering a foreign language, the article describes the approaches to two types of speech activity, namely, speaking and listening, and indicates the ways and means of developing skills in a bilingual audience.

Based on the Actor-Network Theory, an analysis of conceptualized representations of foreign students was carried out before and after arriving in Russia.

Lack of education critically affects the hundreds of millions of children around the world who become adolescents without basic life skills. As a result, it is difficult for them not only to build a successful career or educate their children, but to even read the instructions of doctors, understand documents, make purchases and other daily operations. It is also not necessary that only high-income countries can demonstrate high levels of education. At present, countries with lower incomes are also showing positive results, are interested in improving the quality of education, and are developing new strategies. This research paper describes the main aspects of the crisis in education, followed by a winning strategy by which countries can overcome this crisis. The strategy is a movement in three directions: competent, fair and regular assessment of learning is an important first step; acting on this assessment while making education accessible to all children is the next major challenge; and, finally, the coordinated actions of all participants in the education system are important. This research paper provides vivid examples of education activity in countries with different income levels.

This article attempts to prove the illegality of putting forward as the main goal of teaching foreign languages exclusively the development of skills to communicate in a foreign language. This point of view is based on a broader understanding of the tasks of teaching foreign languages than just providing practical knowledge of foreign language communication. As a justification of this theory, important arguments related to the acquisition of knowledge about the language and through the language - the culture of the corresponding people are given. The focus solely on the assimilation of practical skills and abilities by students does not allow taking into account the diversity of possible motivations of students in mastering the subject. The emphasis is placed on the fact that not for all students, communicative motivation is the main component in mastering a foreign language. The practical significance of this article lies in the development of a number of competencies necessary to achieve the main goals of teaching foreign languages.
