The focus of the article is on the idea of idiom teaching. The article aims to identify the main ways in which idioms are taught. A lot of attention is paid to the understanding of the meaning of the term ‘idiom’, to the main classifications of idioms and to the sequence of learning idioms. It has been found that it is necessary to study idioms comprehensively: pronouncing, reading, meaning, using, spelling, practicing. The article also argues for the importance of teaching idioms for better mastery of English.

It is widely known that enhancement of the system of teaching foreign languages can be achieved by introducing progressive teaching methods as well as using modern teaching and information-communication technologies thus enabling them to access the achievements of the world civilization and globally available information resources, ensuring international collaboration and communication. Nowadays, culture is playing an important role in foreign language teaching and learning, therefore, a lot of researches have been done in this field in recent years. It has been recognized that a language is used as the main medium through which culture is expressed. It is believed that students are aware of language rules but are not always capable enough to use the language sufficiently as they do not have a sound knowledge of the target culture. Nevertheless, “pure information” is insight; while the development of people’s cultural understanding leads them to better critical thinking. There are ample methodologies for developing learners’ intercultural competence. The present study also seeks the ways of developing a model of blended learning course on intercultural communication.

Inter-subject communication is raised to a higher level of scientific weight training process, providing multifaceted influence on the personality of students, ensuring unity of education, educational and developmental functions. So much attention in institutes for economic education is primarily due to the fact that economic knowledge defined by renowned economists who can teach economic theory necessary for the formation of the economic way of thinking and economic culture of the students. Besides knowledge form the basis of economic education and training student. Influence of inter-subject communications so broadly that it covers the area of teaching all disciplines affects the curriculum, programs and textbooks, beyond the narrowly defined as training, affecting the formation of the world students. So there is every reason to believe inter-subject communication one of the principles of didactics.

In this study, it is aimed to comparatively examine the intercultural awareness levels of Turkish and Kyrgyz vocational high school students. The research was designed as a survey study based on a quantitative approach. The sample group of the research consisted of vocational high school students from Turkey and Kyrgyzstan determined by simple random technique. The data of the study were collected simultaneously from a vocational high school students in Turkey and Kyrgyzstan with the help of a scale. As a result of the research, the intercultural awareness levels of vocational high school students in Turkey and Kyrgyzstan were calculated as high. It was determined that the intercultural awareness levels of Kyrgyz vocational high school students were higher than those of Turkish vocational high school students. In the study, it was concluded that the intercultural awareness levels of Turkish and Kyrgyz vocational high school students did not differ according to the father’s profession variable. It was observed that the intercultural awareness levels of vocational high school students did not differ according to the variable of whether they had friends from a different culture. Finally, the relationship between the intercultural awareness levels of vocational high school students and their class and age levels was examined. It was determined that the intercultural awareness levels of Kyrgyz vocational high school students had a high level of positive correlation with the class.

Art is one of the forms of social expression, and it was created as a result of visualizing the images created in human thinking, emotions and abstract thought by means of images. The images created as a result of the impact of the external world surrounding a person, the processes and events occurring in it on feelings and thinking are the basis of image creation. Portrait painting, which reflects a person’s inner world, feelings and emotions through facial expressions, lines, likeness and mimicry, eyes and gaze, which are considered as a mirror of mood, is considered a very complex genre of fine art and painting. The portrait genre, which is one of the main genres of painting and graphics, has taken a very wide place in fine arts. As in other genres, portrait works take their content from public life and reflect public existence through specific artistic images and influence public life. Therefore, the portrait artist is not satisfied with giving only external signs of a person in his works, such as external resemblance, pose, movement and facial expressions. At the same time, the tries to show the spiritual world, psychological characteristics and what kind of character the person he paints.
