The article presents a new branch of science - ethno-sociology - on one part, and on the other gives cul- ture-sociologic frame of tourism in Great Britain. Describing forms and methods of tourism, most typical for the United King- dom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the author tries to emphasize the ethnic specificity of tourism features of the country, depending on geography and nature. Traditional approach to understand ethnicity based on ethnology somehow restricts culture analysis on a broad social level. Ethnology won’t help to understand why Germany has a tourism system different from Great Britain, because ethnology deals with archaic and countryside forms of culture-traditions and customs that have got confirmed in the past. Tourism research needs the latest tendencies in socio-culture development. Industrial- ization, new technologies and the latest development in communication have produced new traits in anthropologic image of men. As culture in general, ethnicity has become modern and postmodern. It is just ethno-sociology. Of course, the influence of climate, geographical position and nature has already been the object of research, first, in French philosophy and natural sciences from the Enlightenment. However, the author of this article prolongs this research line, only on new« social soil«, hence this approach gives birth to a new branch of science - ethno-sociology.

Alongside this, the efficiency estimation of each element is given; diversified variants of techniques and methods combinativity are developed in order to increase the students’ motivation level, to amplify the framing effect and to solidify knowledge. The impact of the techniques on the creation of psychological connection with the students is considered absolutely and irrespectively. Methods are being examined in conjunction with each aspect of foreign language study and each aspect is allocated with a specific number of techniques. In terms of the research the author has also designed a conspicuous system of exercises sampled with the students of tourism, service, management and hospitality faculties of Russian State University of Tourism and Service. The system may provide the constant students' motivation improvement. Thus regardless of the fact that there exists a considerable theoretical justification along with vast experience of foreign language teaching in Russian non-language universities, the formed educational system appears to be underperforming from the perspective of the demands of times and needs to be elaborated. The issue of developing future specialists has been a longstanding subject of inquiry, driven by the evolving criteria used to delineate the concept of a future specialist. Typically, the exploration of challenges and tasks associated with cultivating future specialists entails a focus on enhancing cognitive abilities, personal attributes, motivation, and practical professional competencies. However, a pressing concern in Russia currently centers around the cultivation of ethical and spiritual values, along with shared cultural foundations among future specialists. This research paper aims to analyze the formation of cultural values within the context of shaping the professional culture of future specialists, and to examine how the development of communicative competence influences this process. Within this study, definitions of culture and professional culture are provided, elucidating the role of cultural development in shaping professional competence. The inquiry also delves into the relationship between the study of a foreign language at a non-linguistic university and the broader cultural development of future specialists. Emphasis is placed on the significance of fostering an understanding of fundamental humanitarian and communicative principles in the educational programs of Russian universities. Ultimately, it is concluded that, in non-linguistic university settings, the study of foreign languages as a distinct discipline significantly impacts the cultural and professional advancement of individuals in contemporary circumstances.

Статья научная
The article proves that metaphorical constructions occur in various linguistic and cultural phenomena. The specialties of the methodologies have been characterized. The poetic texts are especially rich in metaphors. The special attention is given to the poetic texts, written at the end of the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century. The Russian poetic texts are being analyzed: in these texts we are revealing metaphors, representing the specific features of the cultural and historical period under investigation. Every nation has a particular volume of knowledge. Part of this information is contained in cultural codes. For the analysis of these codes, the peculiarities of cultural customs and traditions, conception of Russia in the beginning of the twenty-first century, we are using the method of decoding poetic metaphor constructions in the texts of Russian poets. The aim of the decoding is to understand the meaning content and cultural information, hidden in poetic metaphors. It is concluded that metaphor has a hidden meaning, which is a hidden meaning of the literature text. This implicit, subtext information contains ethno-cultural and historical meaning and represents sociocultural environment of the epoch. The topicality of the present research is determined by the scientific interest in correlation between language and culture, the interest in those language elements, which enrich the language itself, and at the same time keep the historic information, and cultural heritage of nations. For these processes poetic metaphor, as one of the most common literature tropes, has much significance.

Protestant project: five hundred years later
Статья обзорная
Five hundred years ago, the Wittenberg monk Martin Luther posted his famous Ninety-five Theses on the door of All Saints’ Church, thus giving birth to the New Europe. That is, not even the New Europe, but simply Europe. For it is from this moment that humanity witnessed the formation of a unique European civilization and European values - values which have survived to this day. The Protestant project became part of a more fundamental process, namely, the process of the universal rationalization of all spheres of human existence, which heralded the beginning of the Modern Era. Capitalism emerged as a profit-based rational economic system. The ideas of John Locke were a rational liberal and political doctrine. And the philosophy of René Descartes offered a rational scientific worldview. Protestantism in turn became a rational system of values designed to overcome medieval theocentricism.

In modern Russian culture, studying values is of particular importance due to the pronounced socio-cultural transformations and the change of life-meaning orientations among representatives of almost all generations, but, first of all, young people. The key approaches to considering the concept of “values” demonstrate their significance in various periods, determining a person’s attitude to their activities, the prevailing meanings of being, compliance with moral and ethical social principles, and traditional spiritual attitudes inherent in the culture. Over time, society undergoes a transformation in the political, economic, and social spheres. The introduction of young people to traditional values determines cultural continuity, which gradually helps young people understand essential and valuable things for themselves, contributing to their self-development, focusing on the spiritual values of the relevant society. Youth is a socio-demographic group that covers people aged 14-16 to 25-35 years. This group is one of the most complicated in organizing and forming a value-semantic sphere during the transition from childhood and adolescence, the formation of social responsibility, and the acquisition of rights and obligations. The research aims to highlight the terminal values of modern youth. An empirical study involving a morphological test of life values as a technique allowed us to identify the most significant value attitudes for modern youth. The method of comparing the theoretical basis of the psychological characteristics of young people with the results obtained enabled us to further adjust the work with young people and improve youth policy and educational activities in the context of the results obtained, justifying the novelty in the changes in the value-semantic sphere of modern youth.
