Modern types of tasks for independent work on the discipline "Finance"

The article discusses modern types of tasks for independent work of students, developed on the basis of the wide use of modern teaching and information and communication technologies in order to increase the level of knowledge and skills of students in the process of studying the academic discipline “Finance”. Reading scientific articles, compiling a glossary, studying regulatory documents, analyzing practice data, studying the content of news reports in the field of economics and finance are recommended as advanced types of tasks for independent work.

The article examines China's multi-vector foreign policy aimed at balancing its global ambitions and regional interests. Particular attention is paid to China's strategy in the context of the Chinese Dream and Belt and Road initiatives, which promote the country's economic and political influence on the world stage. The mechanisms and tools used by China to achieve its goals, as well as the contradictions that arise during their implementation, are analyzed. Particular emphasis is placed on China's role in the Asia-Pacific region, its relations with neighboring states, and its impact on regional security. The article emphasizes that the successful promotion of China's foreign policy initiatives depends on its ability to combine national interests with the needs of the international community. The results of the study have practical significance for building an effective dialogue and cooperation with China.

Mythological aspect of some Kazakh toponyms

Kazakh toponymy is an integral part of the spiritual culture of our people, rich in historical linguistic data and materials. After all, in the content of the names of each nation, there are many centuries-old events of political and social life of this ethnic group, various layers of cultural and spiritual life. Generally,linguistics has written research papers in several areas related to Kazakh toponymy, but the problem of considering toponyms in connection with mythological thinking and the system of myths has not yet become a specific, comprehensive object of research. In this regard, the purpose of the scientific research of this article is to describe some toponyms in the Kazakh language, including toponyms associated with the phrase rich, "female goddess", which are associated with all - Turkic sacred concepts of mythological nature "sacred, holy", in comparison with the materials of Turkic languages from the historical point of view. According to it, the article is relevant to identify and analyze the manifestations of the mythical system in the spiritual worldview of the Turkic-speaking peoples, including the Kazakh people, formed in connection with the environment in ancient times, with a semantic and etymological analysis of the composition of the toponyms of Kotankaragai and Bayanaul in Kazakhstan. As a result of the analysis, the following problems were achieved: first, the cognitive level of the Kazakh people originates from ancient Turkic mythological worldviews, secondly, the common content and idea of myths common to the entire Turkic world, i.e. the common content and common Turkic sound correspondence of the mythical text nature of the ancient Turkic Goddess Umai - a woman, the usage of the cognition of a rich mother, and thirdly, the sacred concept of this "female goddess" (Umai- the scientific and practical significance of the work is determined by our attempt to prove in a new way the manifestation of the female goddess, Bai(Holy, Sacred) Mother) in the toponyms Bayanaul and Kotankaragai in Kazakhstan on the basis of previous research and previously ignored sources.

National identity as a component of the nation brand (case of Hungary)

This study investigates the significant role of national identity in the context of nation branding, with a specific focus on Hungary. Utilizing qualitative research methodologies, including extensive focus groups, the research captures how Hungarian citizens perceive their national identity and the implications of these perceptions for both national and international branding efforts. This paper reveals a complex interplay between deeply ingrained cultural pride, enduring historical narratives, and the contemporary challenges facing Hungary today. These elements are crucial for crafting a compelling national brand that resonates on a global scale. The findings not only highlight the unique aspects of Hungarian national identity but also suggest ways in which these characteristics can be strategically leveraged to enhance Hungary’s position and reputation internationally. By exploring the nuanced expressions of identity among various demographic groups across Hungary, this study contributes to a broader understanding of how national identity can be a powerful tool in global branding strategies. This approach emphasizes the importance of aligning Hungary’s branding initiatives with its rich cultural heritage and dynamic modern aspirations, aiming to foster a positive international image and attract global interest and investments.

Negative aspects of the comorbid course of COPD and CHF

The paper focuses on challenges in the diagnosis and treatment choice for patients with CHF and COPD. It is underlined that in the pathogenesis of both diseases there are common processes of systemic inflammation, oxidative stress, and endothelial dysfunction. One of the main systemic inflammation markers is highly sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP). The fact that N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) is a standard laboratory biomarker of CHF, but the adverse effect of COPD on the cardiovascular system can also affect its level in blood serum is also stressed. The study was aimed to assess the impact of COPD on the level of NT-proBNP, hs-CRP and the functional status of patients with CHF. The results obtained demonstrate that combination of COPD and CHF amplifies systemic inflammation and myocardial remodeling processes determined by the level of NT-proBNP. A negative effect of COPD on the functional status of patients with CHF with different left ventricular ejection fraction was reported. The results obtained contribute to expansion of the diagnostic capabilities, and prognosis and effectiveness of pharmacotherapy in patients with COPD and CHF.

New prospects in language learning for training a medical specialist

The article discusses new ways and conditions for better professional training of medical specialists. Problems in teaching foreign language and professional communication of non-linguistic specialists are discussed. The objective of this research was to analyze how the skillful creative use of newly learned vocabulary in communicative situations ensures the formation of information transfer skills, which is very important for the development of oral speech. The author concludes that the competitiveness of the university also plays an important role in the training of good specialists. The authors pay great attention in the article to the need and importance of the practical use of a foreign language as a means of communication in the socio-cultural and professional spheres.

Novices reading primary literature online: a qualitative study

Reading research articles online is now considered a vital skill for undergraduate students. Nevertheless, previous works on training undergraduates in reading the specific genre is scarce. This paper presents the findings of a qualitative exploration that aimed to investigate the potential online reading behavior changes of three Greek biomedical students who participated in a metacognitive-genre-based EAP course for one academic semester. Our results suggest that the course enhanced students' familiarity with the research article genre and benefited their overall reading strategy use.

On approaches to the interpretation of the term “concept” as a basic category in linguistics

As we know, the term “concept” can be rendered and defined differently. The key option is that humans’ process of thinking can not be held without concepts, they even can be created at the moment of mental activity. The question on its essence arises many discussions in philology and language learning, thus there is a great number of scientific views concerning these thoughts. The predominant one is considerate as a splash of culture and a person’s mindset. It helps us to see the world within authors eyes and create new similar phenomena in our mind or to share our impressions and experience with others. Besides all the theories and a great variety of its rendering it is still one of the main structural units of the language.

The article discusses issues of borrowing foreign vocabulary and the ways of its semantic adaptation in the host language are considered. Using the example of the word «brutal» the dictionary characteristic of the word presented in Russian and English dictionaries. In addition, the author analyzes the contexts with adjective «brutal», posted on the website of the National Russian Language Corps. At the end, the author concludes about the semantic transformation of the word «brutal» in modern Russian and possible reasons for this change.

The article emphasizes the need to preserve the practice of studying and its expansion within the framework of the curriculum when the students master the topical unit “art” in the senior grades of the Russian school, which will make possible a more effective and sustainable formation of sociocultural competence in the process of the students’ acquiring a foreign language, English in particular. The author of the article describes how viewing various works of art in English lessons can enhance the development of empathy, critical thinking and an understanding of the complex nature of the correlation between art, culture and society. The importance of the lexical aspect when learning a foreign language is emphasized, and examples of the most effective types of exercises for introduction into the educational process at school are given.

This study examines the optimization of thermal insulation and moisture absorption properties in knitted fabrics with diverse fiber compositions. It evaluates the effects of yarn types, including wool, cotton, polyester, and acrylic, on the thermal and moisture management performance of multi-layered weft-knitted structures. The findings confirm that the selection of raw materials plays a pivotal role in determining air permeability, heat transfer dynamics, and the overall thermo-physiological comfort of fabrics.

The rapid development of information technology and the daily use of the Internet have influenced the growth of written communication. Teaching the correct writing of academic essays and articles has become part of formal formal instruction. Today, the essay is offered as an assignment quite often. High school students are taught to structure their essays to improve their writing skills. In both middle and high school, essays are used to assess mastery and understanding of the material. Students are asked to analyze, explain, comment, or evaluate a research topic in the form of an academic essay letter. Teaching the correct writing of an essay is necessary so that students write better work, for a deeper understanding of the topic. Writing an essay is effective because it allows the author to learn how to clearly and competently formulate thoughts, structure information, use basic concepts, use basic concepts, illustrate experience with examples, and argue their conclusions. Palliative care for the children of Voronezh region

Palliative care for children is a medical service that develops separately from adult palliative care. The purpose of this study is to analyze the medico-social structure of palliative care for children of Voronezh region. Data were collected from 47 medical institutions of Voronezh region. It included the number of children, the area of residence, social status, diagnosis. The method of nutrition and respiration of the child, the need for oxygen therapy, artificial ventilation, psychological and social assistance were also evaluated. It was revealed that the largest number of palliative patients was detected in the Left-Bank district. According to the structure of the detected palliative pathologies, non-oncological diseases prevail in children of the Voronezh region. Also, acquired neurological diseases are most common - cerebral palsy and congenital anomalies of brain development. Oncological diseases in children, according to our data, occupy a small proportion (4%). In the Voronezh Region, depending on the probability of a fatal outcome, irreversible but not progressive conditions with severe disability and the patient's exposure to complications prevail, which requires the organization of a multidisciplinary approach to palliative therapy, the introduction of new diagnostic methods and rehabilitation measures.
