Two main aspects of studying modal verbs of English and Kyrgyz languages can be distinguished in the scientific literature: they can be considered from theoretical and practical points of view. The article analyses the historical path of development of English and Kyrgyz modal verbs. The aim of the article is to analyse English and Kyrgyz modal verbs in diachronic and synchronic aspects.

Humanizing the digital experience of banks' interaction with consumers

Today, consumers of banking services use digital channels for routine transactions, but for complex transactions, many of them choose personal interaction, even though their needs change in accordance with changing social, economic, cultural and technological trends. In this regard, the need to expand digital banking offerings focused on increasing customer loyalty and taking into account various factors, ranging from personalization of experience to reducing security risks, is being actualized. Despite the fact that digital banking symbolizes convenience, consumer’s still lack human communication and personal connection, so modern financial organizations should combine digital practice with physical interaction. These transformations will contribute not only to the creation of new products and services, but also to the formation of complex ecosystems that support the humanization of the digital experience of interaction with consumers.

Hybrid educational technologies: trend or new reality?

The article deals with the problem of organizing the work of a teacher in the so-called hybrid form of education. Authors reveal the role of e-learning in the educational process, focusing on the actualization of hybrid technology, and offer a set of rules for creating a successful hybrid learning environment. Also possibilities and prospects of application of mixed and hybrid educational technologies in education institutions are being considered. Models of mixed and hybrid learning and possibilities of their integration into the educational process are investigated.

III отделение и корпус жандармов: правовой статус и реорганизация во второй половине XIX века

После восстания декабристов в Российской империи в 1826 г. было учреждено III Отделение императорской канцелярии с целью недопущения впредь подобного рода особо опасных преступлений против существующей власти. Несколько позже в 1827 г. был сформирован Корпус жандармов, который должен был на местах непосредственно осуществлять соответствующие функции при подчинении III Отделению. В статье рассматриваются особенности правового регулирования полномочий указанных правоохранительных органов во второй половине ХIХ в. Анализируются соответствующие нормативно-правовые акты, другие документы, научные труды по данной теме. Отмечается, что ближе к рубежу 1870 г. наряду с началом реализации реформ либерального характера (в том числе Судебной реформы 1864 г.) в России одновременно стало усиливаться и революционное движение, участились теракты и, соответственно, довольно быстро значимость жандармских органов была повышена. Однако учреждение III Отделения не позволило должным образом решать вопрос внутренней безопасности, и в 1880 г. оно было упразднено с передачей компетенции Департаменту политической полиции в составе МВД. Однако такая реорганизация не сдержала дальнейшего развития революционного движения.

IT-отрасль в условиях импортозамещения

Социальная, политическая, экономическая жизнь любой страны находится в состоянии постоянного изменения. Актуальность данного исследования определяется меняющимися внешними условиями, изменениями внутренних правил и процессов, изменением климата и физических условий жизни. Самым динамичным, пожалуй, является технологический сектор экономики, инфокоммуникационное сопровождение процессов. Целью исследования является оценка влияния комплекса санкций со стороны международного экономического сообщества на экономическую и технологическую жизнь нашей страны. В процессе исследования применялись методы наблюдения, анализа, синтеза, аналогии. Следует подчеркнуть, что отрасль телекоммуникаций по причине своей высокотехнологичности и восприимчивости приняла подобные изменения одной из первых. В процессе исследования проведен анализ своевременности и содержательности реагирования на ограничение поставок оборудования и технологий в отрасли связи. В результате исследования сделан вывод о том, что государством и хозяйствующими субъектами предприняты такие результативные контрмеры, как разработка и производство собственных аппаратных и программных продуктов, внедрено льготное налогообложение, организованы бизнес-площадки для обмена опытом и заключения прямых контрактов, разработан институт цифровых атташе. Это необходимый, но не исчерпывающий перечень мер для обеспечения жизнеспособности IT-компаний и отрасли в целом.

Impact of AI-generated curricula based on industry needs on students' motivation

This article explores the impact of AI-generated curricula tailored to industry needs on student motivation and engagement in higher education. By applying Self-Determination Theory (SDT), the study assesses how AI-driven educational tools influence students' psychological needs for autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The research employs a quantitative methodology, surveying undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students on their satisfaction with current curricula and their perceptions of AI's potential role in curriculum design. The findings reveal that students, particularly at the bachelor's and master's levels, are not fully satisfied with their curriculum's alignment with job market needs. This dissatisfaction indicates a desire for more personalized, industry-oriented educational pathways. The article argues that AI-generated curricula could address these gaps by offering dynamic, individualized learning experiences that foster intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The study concludes that implementing AI in curriculum design has the potential to enhance student engagement and better prepare students for future careers, provided it is thoughtfully integrated with pedagogical strategies.

Impact of COVID-19 on the global banking sector

This article discusses the consequence of Covid-19 crisis on the global banking system. The main challenges that banks have faced during this time are analyzed. Even if the pandemic did not have the projected negative financial consequences for the global banking industry, it had plenty of other consequences. The recent trends boosted by Covid-19 such as acceleration of digital banking, decrease of cash and authorities concern about the sustainability are discussed. Moreover, perspectives of recovery and long-term outlook for banking industry are identified.

Implementation and comparison of the Sobel operator on CPU and GPU using CUDA

This article examines the Sobel operator, which is used to highlight contours in images. Special attention is paid to two variants of its implementation: on the central processing unit (CPU) and on the graphics processor (GPU). The paper discusses in detail the technical aspects of the implementation of the Sobel method on the GPU, including the features of optimization and distribution of calculations on the graphics architecture. In addition, a comparative analysis of the method's performance is performed when it is performed on the CPU and GPU, which allows you to evaluate the efficiency of using the GPU for such tasks. The article also focuses on key aspects of algorithm development using the CUDA programming language, which is designed for parallel computing on GPUs.

Implementation of machine learning and neural networks for student group management to enhance human capital management

The article addresses the implementation of machine learning and neural networks in the management of student groups at Turan University. The study outlines a comprehensive algorithm using the "Orange" software for hierarchical clustering of students based on their transcript grades. The findings reveal the formation of five distinct student groups, facilitating more efficient management and interaction by advisors. The financial evaluation highlights the estimated costs for data analysts, developers, infrastructure, and support. The expected outcomes include improved learning efficiency, enhanced academic performance, optimized resource allocation, and increased satisfaction among students and faculty. The study concludes that integrating advanced technological solutions can significantly enhance human capital management in higher education.

This article examines the role of the concept of "childhood" in the educational process and emphasizes the necessity of its implementation and verbalization. Through an exploration of common means of representing this concept, based on the use of collocation dictionaries, dictionaries of antonyms and synonyms, the author identifies lexical groups of words and gives their methodological representation. Of particular note is the author's attention to the use of mind maps as an effective method of visualizing new information in the educational process.

In Silico анализ генов, вовлечённых в формирование атеросклероза

Атеросклероз представляет собой хроническое заболевание артерий, характеризующееся нарушением липидного обмена, воспалением и ремоделированием сосудистой стенки. Эти процессы контролируются сложными взаимодействиями множества генов и белков. В данной работе применён биоинформатический подход для реконструкции и анализа сети белок-белковых взаимодействий, вовлечённых в патогенез атеросклероза у человека. Исследование проведено с использованием общедоступных баз данных Ensembl, UniProt, STRING и Enrichr, а также данных литературы. Определены ключевые гены и белки, включая LDLR, APOB, PCSK9, APOE, IL6, TNF, MMP9 и NOS3, участвующие в регуляции липидного транспорта, воспалительных реакций и эндотелиальной функции. Сетевой анализ показал, что эти элементы образуют плотную функциональную сеть, связывающую липидный обмен и воспалительные сигнальные пути. Функциональное обогащение выявило значительные ассоциации с биологическими процессами «метаболизм липидов», «воспалительный ответ» и «регуляция сосудистого тонуса». Полученные результаты демонстрируют эффективность биоинформатического подхода для системного изучения молекулярных механизмов атерогенеза и могут служить основой для дальнейших исследований генетических факторов риска и потенциальных терапевтических мишеней.

In silico study of novel chalcone derivatives as anticholinesterase candidates

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a deadly neurodegenerative disorder affecting the majority of elderly people in the world. One of the pivotal factors of the disease is the increasing level of acetylcholinesterase enzyme that inhibits acetylcholine activity in the brain that disrupts brain function. Chalcones are phytochemicals that have a wide spectrum of biological activities, including inhibition of AChE. A series of newly candidate chalcone derivatives (5-6) were studied for their acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activities against Alzheimer disease. The binding energy of all the synthesized compounds to the target protein (4M0E) was found to be higher than the reference inhibitor of dihydrotanshinone (-9.23 kcal/mol). Based on the molecular docking result compounds 6 (-11.91 kcal/mole) and 8 (-11.30 kcal/mol) have the highest binding energy among all synthesized compounds. In this study, it was found that the change at the aromatic ring by introducing substitutions of the electron-withdrawing small group (chlorine) and electron-donating group (methoxy) at the specific position play an outstanding role of their biological activities.

Increasing student's self-learning ability in practicing English with the support of information technology

A self-learning is an indispensable form of learning that helps students get success in their studies. This article is aimed at students' self-learning ability in practicing English with the support of information technology, specifically the social learning network Edmodo. The survey was conducted with 256 non-English major students at the Thai Nguyen University of Education, Viet Nam. The research results show that self-learning ability is one of the main factors of the communicative method used in teaching foreign languages. The use of Edmodo has helped to improve students' self-learning ability, motivate them to actively learn and practise English in a responsible and effective way.
