Market and challenges of family business based on the example of Spanish company - Vigar

The article is devoted to describing one of the family-owned company and identifying the main difficulties that family-owned businesses face to. The article deals with the shining example of the history of Spanish family business. Market analysis was conducted on the basis of studying of company data, participation in Trento Marketing Challenge and available information of company as well as qualitative interviews with relevant stakeholders.

The article presents a study of the psychological resource of the cognitive development of children aged 11-12 years. As components of this resource, competencies were studied, reflecting the development by children of regulatory universal actions associated with reflection on the way of solving problems and planning to achieve a result. As a result of carrying out group experiments on the material of plot-logical tasks, it was shown that within two years the mastering of reflection on the method of solving problems occurs more intensively than mastering the planning of achieving a result.

Media culture as a phenomenon of the modern information society

The article presents contemporary concepts of media culture and describes its information and communication functions in modern mass media and internet discourse. The aim of the study is to define the role of media culture as a phenomenon of information-dependent society. The relevance lies in the active and aggressive influence of media and cultural processes on the development of contemporary society, which are at odds with the poor research, since many of these processes are still at a nascent and developmental stage. The article also draws conclusions and generalisations about the negative and positive characteristics of media culture, which promotes mainly mass culture products that have no aesthetic value, but which do benefit from their relaxing powers.

This article proposes a theoretical justification of mental stress influence on the mental working capacity of high school students in the context of specialized education. In addition, this article proposes an empirical-experimental study of functional criteria for assessing the mental working capacity of high school students in the context of educational activities. The modernization of society, the economy, politics, and modern education provides an opportunity for the emergence of a new direction of specialized education - based on objective methods of functional psychological and pedagogical diagnostics, stimulating the learning activities of students. In this regard, before psychologists and teachers, the administration of municipal educational institutions, it became necessary to determine effective criteria and methods for assessing the quality of specialized training at all stages of training and education of the main subjects of the educational process.

Metaphoric medical terms with zoonym component in English and Russian medical discourses

This article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the metaphoric medical terms with the zoonym component in English and Russian medical discourses. The relevance of the study is determined by the importance of these metaphoric medical terms for the understanding of national peculiarities, and as a result, effective intercultural communication and overcoming communication barriers in healthcare cooperation. The objective of the research was to reveal whether medical conditions are nominated by metaphors with equal or different zoonym components in English and Russian medical discourses. The material of the research included English-Russian medical dictionaries and Russian-English medical dictionaries. Conclusions: The comparative analysis of the metaphoric medical terms with the zoonym components in English and Russian medical discourses has demonstrated that medical conditions may be nominated by metaphors with equal or different zoonym components.

Metasubject cognitive competencies children 10-11 years old

The article presents a study aimed at studying the influence of different educational environments in primary schools - traditional ones of a different nature and built according to the system of D.B. Elkonin and V.V. Davydov. - to develop meta-subject cognitive competencies in children in grades 4 and 5. In two series of group experiments, children solved plot-logical problems of the author’s “Deduction” technique. As a result of the study, it was shown that teaching children aged 10-11 years in an educational environment built according to the system of D.B. Elkonin and V.V. Davydov, to a greater extent than their education in a traditional educational environment, contributes to the formation of meta-subject cognitive competencies.

The modern fans were proposed to cool a refrigerator surfaces and a condensing unit regarding to the ambient temperature, a condenser and an evaporator temperatures; control cooling method of main sealed subsystems (compressor and condenser) as the main thermal loads.

Methods of intraoperative correction of hepatic dysfunction

The hepatobiliary system pathology remains an urgent problem of modern medicine. The liver regeneration ability largely determines the outcome of surgery and postoperative complications. The aim of the study was to enhance the prevention of postoperative hepatic dysfunction by activating methylation processes. The study involved experimental and clinical phases. In the experimental unit, the best results (15,17% acceleration of liver mass recovery) were observed with intrahepatic administration of cyanocobalamin, and intrahepatic administration of cyanocobalamin with intraperitoneal administration of ademethionine (12,04% acceleration). In clinical conditions, intravenous administration of cyanocobalamin and ademethionine contributed to the normalization of indicators of cholestasis syndrome, hepatic cell insufficiency and inflammation, a decrease in cytolysis, hepatic cell insufficiency. Thus, the proposed method of activation of methylation processes allows to increase the reparative potential of the liver, ensures the restoration of its anatomical and functional integrity, prevents the development of postoperative hepatic dysfunction.

Ancient people migrated from the island to island, from one territory to another, to the areas with more comfortable climatic and economic conditions. For all the times migration was risky and dangerous. The people faced climatic disasters, river falls, fires, snowfalls and snowstorms, hunger, hurricanes, cold, unfriendly meeting of native people in other lands. So migration has always been a challenge for the people migrating to other living areas. Thus migrating may be individual, in groups or Great Resettlement of nations. Migration has always been presented in all countries and continents. The people were seeking for better life, more comfortable climate, conditions to find and produce food and cattle, to grow up children, trying to avoid wars and disasters. The reasons of migration fall in the European countries are performed in the study.

In this example, we will look at the interaction of information providers, where they bear the costs of transmitting this information. We will present definitions of games using overloaded models and potential games, as well as illustrate this game with a specific example using overloaded models. The active interaction model assumes the existence of a certain set of rules and procedures that regulate the behavior of agents, as well as ways to exchange information and make decisions. In this context, active interaction means not only the exchange of information, but also a direct influence on the behavior of other agents in order to achieve certain goals.

Modern options for presbyopia correction in patients with COVID-19

This review discusses current options of pharmacotherapy in the treatment of patients with age-related refractive disorder - presbyopia - combined with COVID-19 viral infection. Various treatment options are currently being developed to correct presbyopia, but all of them involve either eyeglass correction, or surgical intervention with application of intraocular lenses. Drug therapy in this case is preferable, since it is less cost-effective, and patients comply more readily to this type of treatment. The application of myotics for presbyopia correction, as well as the combinations of myotics and other drugs for additive treatments and side effects reduction are well documented; however, there is no sufficient data on the results of such treatment. Currently, pyrenoxine, being a component of Catalin-eye drops, has been studied in this regard. It prevents the appearance of quinoid compounds in the lens, which lead to a decreased lens elasticity and, accordingly, to the development of presbyopia. The use of Catalin-eye drops in patients with COVID-19 is especially relevant, since this virus appears to be a predictor of metabolic disorders development. It is necessary to further study Pyrenoxine as a substance that effectively reduces risks of presbyopia development.
