Cet article examine l’intérêt pédagogique de l’intégration des genres littéraires non canoniques, notamment le roman graphique, dans l’enseignement du français langue étrangère (FLE) à l’université. Une enquête qualitative menée auprès de dix enseignants du département de français de l’Université d’Oum El Bouaghi permet d’analyser leurs perceptions, pratiques et les obstacles rencontrés. Les résultats révèlent une attitude majoritairement favorable, soulignant l’impact positif de ces supports sur la motivation, l’ouverture interculturelle et les compétences langagières des apprenants. Toutefois, des contraintes institutionnelles, matérielles et liées à la formation freinent leur intégration. L’étude propose des recommandations pratiques et suggère des pistes de recherche pour approfondir leur usage en didactique du FLE.

Management accounting and improving Internal Audit Quality

This study investigates how enhancing the application of management accounting tools both traditional and modern can improve governance within economic institutions through the internal audit mechanism. It addresses the core issue of the relationship between effective use of these tools and internal audit performance. The hypothesis tested suggests a statistically significant impact of improved management accounting practices on internal audit effectiveness. A field study was conducted involving economic institutions in the Wilaya of Me de a, companies listed on the Algiers Stock Exchange, and auditing firms. The theoretical model employed identifies management accounting tools as the independent variable and internal audit mechanism as the dependent one. Statistical methods such as T tests, F tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) were used. Results indicate that the effective application of tools like budget forecasts, full costing, balanced scorecards, and activity based costing positively influences internal audit, with a marginal effect of 0.29 for traditional tools and 0.30 for modern ones, explaining 35% of variation in audit effectiveness and thus enhancing governance.

Micro and small enterprises (MSEs) are the economic agents with the greatest capacity to create employment in Latin America; however, they have low levels of productivity, the main cause of the high level of informality in the tourism sector.The purpose of the research was to determine the influence of human resources management on the results of the Mypes system under a quantitative approach, the type of study was basic with explanatory scope, as a non-experimental design, cross-sectional correlational causal. The information was collected through a survey using a questionnaire of technological profile of the Mypes, the sample consisted of 850 companies in Latin America with a non-probabilistic sampling. The results were obtained with the structural model of the asymptotic free distribution method, where it is concluded that Human Resources Management has a 100% in-fluence on the results of the system. In this sense, human resources management is determined by the dimen-sions for a better relationship with the results of the system.

Manifestations of Reading Errors among a Sample of Fifth Grade Primary Pupils

The study aims to identify the manifestations and types of reading errors among a sample of fifth grade primary pupils. The sample included 55 pupils, among whom 25 exhibited reading difficulties, while 30 were of average to above-average performance (typical pupils). To collect data, the Holiday Text Test by Dr. Saliha Ghellab was used. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach, the study revealed various types of errors, including omission, addition, repetition, substitution, and inversion, although these errors appeared in varying proportions and order across the two groups. The study also found a relationship between reading speed and the number of reading errors.

Interpretation thus becomes more than a tool—it becomes a philosophy in itself, drawn from the depths of reason and imagination. It stands apart from traditional approaches that viewed ideas as mere echoes of prior truths. Through Hans-Georg Gadamer‘s hermeneutics, this study highlights the role of interpretation as a dynamic process of understanding. Gadamer sees hermeneutics as a way to revive the spirit of comprehension by challenging rigid readings and reconnecting thought with lived experience. In this view, truth is no longer a fixed absolute but a continuous dialogue between subject and object, between tradition and modernity. Thus, Gadamerian hermeneutics offers a critical path toward a renewed understanding of the world by rejecting dogmatic certainties and embracing both the limitations and possibilities of human reason.

As English for Specific Purposes (ESP) gains prominence in the engineering academic disciplines, the traditional language teaching methods are increasingly falling short in meeting students’ specialized needs. Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) has thus emerged as a promising alternative for enhancing students’ discipline-specific language skills. Indeed, the effective implementation of such innovative methodology depends not only on a thorough analysis of students’ need but also on a clear assessment of students' attitudes. This study aims at exploring the mechanical engineering students’ attitudes and preferences towards CALL. In order to achieve this purpose, a quantitative research methodology was adopted. A self-designed questionnaire containing nine closed-ended questions was administrated to a total of thirty volunteering freshmen LMD students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology, Oran U.S.T.O.-MB. The results revealed that the participants are positively aware of the CALL great potential and benefit if offers for improving their English language skills and are manifesting a number of positive signs that show their preparedness to actively engage in a computer-integrated English language environment. The mechanical engineering students are also demonstrating highly-positive attitudes and preferences towards CALL with slightly more inclination to the implementation of the language lab method. Such implementation should occur through gradual transition via blended learning and requires some major strategic pedagogical interventions, including the reform of institutional technological structure and the provision of training and professional development for the ESP practitioners.

This study aims to explore mechanisms for activating environmental citizenship in Algerian society through an approach that integrates the Islamic legal perspective and major jurisprudential principles with existing legal and institutional efforts. The research highlights the importance of the environment in Islamic Sharia, and examines the concept of the environment in both Islamic and Algerian legislation, as well as mechanisms for its protection, with a focus on the preventive role embedded in the Prophetic Sunnah. The study also addresses the major jurispru-dential maxims as a framework for regulating the relationship between humans and the environment, and presents contemporary jurisprudential and societal applications within the Algerian context. Furthermore, it examines the role of religious and educational institutions in promoting environmental citizenship behaviors. The study con-cludes that integration between religious, educational, and legal frameworks is essential to instill a responsible envi-ronmental culture in society.

Media Literacy and English Language Teaching in Algeria: What's Missing in Higher Education?

This research examines the incorporation of media literacy within higher education EFL (English as a Foreign Language) programs in Algeria. Employing a mixed-methods design, data were gathered from 50 EFL instructors and 50 students at Algerian universities using structured online questionnaires. The study explores the extent to which media literacy is recognized and embedded in curricula, as well as the perceptions of its importance among teachers and students, and the obstacles to its effective integration. Results indicate that, despite widespread acknowledgment of its value, media literacy is not formally included in the curriculum. Both educators and learners cite challenges such as inadequate resources, limited training, and insufficient institutional backing. The study underscores the necessity for targeted professional development, curriculum reform, and institutional collaboration to successfully embed media literacy in Algerian EFL education. The findings provide practical recommendations for advancing media and digital literacy across Algerian universities.
