Audience Psychology: From Reception to Active Participation
Статья научная
The media landscape in the digital age is undergoing profound transformations that have reshaped the relationship between media and audiences. This relationship has evolved beyond its traditional linear nature to become interactive and multidirectional, where audiences play an active role in the production of meaning and media content. This study starts from the fundamental premise that classical models for understanding audiences—such as the direct effects theory and the uses and gratifications theory—are no longer sufficient to explain the new dynamics of the interactive audience, which combines the roles of receiver, producer, and distributor. The research focuses on analyzing audience psychology in light of these digital transformations through a critical review of traditional theoretical frameworks and compares them with emerging concepts such as the prosumer (producer-consumer), citizen journalism, and interactive reception. The study also discusses how media shape collective consciousness through algorithms, framing, and repetition, in addition to the technical, cognitive, and communicative dimensions of interactivity in the digital environment. The study aims to uncover the challenges and opportunities posed by this new interactivity, particularly concerning risks such as misinformation, hate speech, and epistemic closure, as well as the potential to enhance freedom of expression, community participation, and the creation of content that is more responsive to audience needs. Ultimately, the study seeks to provide an analytical framework that contributes to understanding the shift from passive to interactive audiences and highlights the psychological and sociological dimensions of contemporary audience behavior in the digital media environment.

Azerbaijan's territorial issues in Turkish-Russian talks (Treaties of Moscow and Kars)
Статья научная
After the signing of the Treaty of Mudros (October 30, 1918), the Ottoman Empire began to be subjected to pressure from the Entente powers. The Entente powers, trying to resolve the Eastern Question in their own interests, put forward conditions that were not reflected in the treaty and applied a policy of division and division against the Ottoman Empire. This caused serious protests among the military and civilian Turkish ruling circles. In accordance with the existing political conditions at that time, the Turkish authorities hoped only for the help of Bolshevik Russia against the Entente powers. The occupation of Istanbul on March 16, 1920, led to a decisive change in the positions of the leaders of the Independence Struggle. The occupation of a large part of the Ottoman Empire by the Entente powers created very fertile political conditions for the establishment of Turkish-Russian relations. The Bolsheviks' activities in the Caucasus and the successive defeats of Denikin's forces gave Kazim Garabekir Pasha great hope for establishing contact with the Bolsheviks and led him to begin his activities.

Billing counter optimization at hypermarkets during offer days and non-offer days
Статья научная
Waiting in queues are a common phenomenon that can be seen or experienced in our daily life. Queues are common in places like filling stations, supermarket stores, hospitals, tollgate, manufacturing firms etc., Waiting in line for getting a service is boredom. No customer will be willing to wait in long queues and waiting in hypermarket counters are not exception. This paper examines an efficient queue management at hypermarket counters considering the variations in customer arrivals at different time during business hours. One of the expected gains from this study is application of the queuing system to optimize the billing section within a short duration in terms of server utilization and minimum queue length. An interesting aspect of the queuing system is to measure its system’s performance evaluating the server utilization, number of counters used, and overall cost involved for operating the billing section. Finally, the study attempts to propose a scientific approach to act quickly to determine an optimum number of billing counters to put in operation at hypermarkets billing section for varying customer arrival rate during offer days and non-offer days.

After our republic gained independence for the second time, the socio-economic conditions in the country changed, collective farms and state farms based on public ownership were abolished, and in their place a large number of small peasant farms based on private ownership were established. The helminth fauna of sheep in such newly established farms, the identification of newly formed foci, the implementation of measures to combat them, etc. remained unstudied until recent years, with some minor exceptions. The article discusses the study of the infection of the species “Cysticercus tenuicollis”, “Cysticercus ovis” by research stations, altitude zones and seasons of the year. The highest extent and intensity of the invasion of “Cysticercus tenuicollis” was recorded in the villages of Gizildere (21%), Jeyranbatan (19.0%), Mashtaga, Fatmayi, Shorabad, Tudar (16.6% each), Altiaghaj (16.3%), and the lowest extent and intensity were recorded in the villages of Zira (8.8%), Hovsan (9.1%). According to the results of studies by altitudinal zones, the mountainous zone dominates over the plain and foothill zones in terms of both extensiveness (18.9%) and intensity (1-34 blisters) of invasion.

Biosphere Reserve as a Learning Tourism Destination: Approaches from Tasik Chini
Статья научная
Biosphere Reserves (BR) are special areas or regions highly recognized for their conservation, logistic functions and sustainable development initiatives. However, not much work has explored into the BRs’ roles or functions as tourism learning destination, especially during the early years of their recognition as BR. This article aims to identify the mechanism utilised in the learning tourism function at Tasik Chini Biosphere Reserve since its inception in 2009 to the present year of 2013. The results reveal that learning of science and culture of the locals are the two-tier perspectives utlised in conceptualizing a tourism learning destination. Activities introduced in the specific themes of The Sustainability of Tropical Heritage fulfil the fundamental need of deep learning of scientific research and learning of the BR’s ecosystem, while the Ecosystem Health fulfils both deep and surface learning of the young visitors. The cultural knowledge of the community, on the other hand, offers a unique and authentic experience to the learners or visitors. As a learning tourism destination, the learning community, nevertheless, expects that the standard of tourism services should not be marginalised and must meet the high standard of tourism services. It is imperative that the science of Biosphere Reserve and the local culture are linked to set a holistic foundation in the creation of the learning programmes at the Tasik Chini Biosphere Reserve.

Статья научная
This study aims to examine the impact of board characteristics on earnings management of listed companies on Vietnamese stock market. This research has employed a sample of Vietnamese listed companies in the period from 2016 to 2020 listed on Vietnam stock market. The study uses discretionary accruals (DA) as a proxy for the earnings management. The adjusted Jones model of Kothari et al. (2005) was applied to recognize DA of these companies. The study also employes fixed effect model through using panal data framework in order to control for time-variant endogeneity. The study found that board size has a positive relationship with earnings manipulation. Board independence and board share ownership are negatively associated to earnings manipulation. However, the study figured out a negative association between CEO duality and earnings management along with a positive association between board financial expertise and earnings management, which are not supported in our research hypotheses. The findings are important to policy-makers and investors by providing them a broaden viewpoints of producing well-defined policies, using useful information to evaluate the firm‟s performance, and monitoring the earnings management actions of managers.

British Research on the Ancient City of Timgad: The British Traveler James Bruce as a Model
Статья научная
The ancient city of Timgad has attracted notable interest from British scholars since the eighteenth century. Their travels and explorations contributed to uncovering the significance of this Roman city located in eastern Algeria and to documenting its archaeological landmarks. With the increasing academic openness of Algerian universities in recent years, historians and archaeologists have been called upon to align with this trend. One of their main goals is to move beyond the limitations of the French academic tradition that has long shaped the history of ancient North Africa. For researchers in Algeria, detaching from the dominance of French studies remains a challenge, mainly because of France's longstanding and ideologically driven focus on Roman-era North African history. This perspective often served political interests during the colonial period. However, alongside French scholarship, there exist other foreign academic contributions, including British studies, which offer valuable insights into the archaeology and history of the region. In this article, I present the city of Timgad through the writings of the British traveler James Bruce. Although his observations on Timgad were limited, he was the first to identify the upper part of the Arch of Triumph. He also described the Byzantine fortress and sketched several of the monuments he encountered. These early contributions are the focus of the discussion in this paper.

Broadcasting rights related to sports events and competitions
Статья научная
The spread of encrypted sports channels and the rise in investments in the sports sector have led to the monopolization of the broadcasting of many sports events. This has sparked legal controversy regarding the audiovisual rights of sports events and competitions. Some argue for the importance of encrypting sports channels and allowing them to monopolize events and competitions, restricting their broadcast to the public in order to protect their investments. On the other hand, another view holds that this infringes on the public's right to access sports information. What is undisputed, however, is that all legal scholars agree on the need to grant legal protection to the audiovisual rights of sports events and competitions, even if they differ on the legal nature of these rights.

Статья научная
This article investigates a negative phenomenon that is widespread, especially in educational and school environments: bullying among students. This is a growing phenomenon that requires attention and research, especially when considering its profound effects, as it is a behavioral issue that emerges early in life and occurs at all educational stages. Bullying is seen as a repeated aggressive behavior over time aimed at causing harm or injury to a specific student or group of students. It typically involves two parties: the bully and the victim. Given its wide and clear negative effects, whether on the student’s personality in various aspects, on their academic performance, or on the school environment and atmosphere, its impact extends to the family as well. The phenomenon manifests in various forms, such as physical, verbal, social, and cyber bullying, as well as in different degrees. Based on an analysis of scientific literature, including experimental studies on the phenomenon under study, this research paper aims to provide a clearer understanding of the conceptual framework of this negative phenomenon. It offers a comparative approach between the main concepts of bullying, highlighting the different intervention mechanisms and strategies necessary, as well as the active parties in the process, to mitigate the severity of this behavioral issue, particularly in the school setting and the educational environment, and to protect the victimized student from this behavior.

Статья научная
This study investigates the dynamic relationships between financial inclusion, economic growth, natural resource rents, and CO₂ emissions in Algeria over the period 1990–2023. Employing the ARDL bounds testing approach to cointegration and error correction modeling, the analysis reveals significant long-run and short-run linkages among the variables. The findings indicate that economic growth exhibits an Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC)-type relationship with emissions, reflecting a transitional phase where environmental degradation increases with income. Financial inclusion, while enhancing economic participation, contributes positively to CO₂ emissions, suggesting a lack of green financial governance. Furthermore, natural resource rents display a robust and positive correlation with carbon emissions, challenging the assumption of resource-led sustainability and highlighting deficiencies in resource revenue management. These results underscore the need for policy integration between financial and environmental systems. The study recommends the implementation of green financial policies, such as environmentally conditional credit frameworks, investment in renewable energy infrastructure, and the establishment of a sovereign wealth fund dedicated to sustainable development. By addressing these dimensions, Algeria can reconcile economic advancement with its climate commitments and move towards a low-carbon, inclusive growth model.
