The Identity Crisis in the Context of Achieving Digital Citizenship

The identity crisis is one of the complex issues facing individuals and societies in the digital age, particularly in the context of digital citizenship. In this era, personal identity intertwines with virtual identity, leading to new challenges individuals face in defining themselves and understanding their place in society, which can result in both internal and external conflicts. Accordingly, this study aims to explore the effects of the identity crisis on individuals in the pursuit of digital citizenship and to present these effects in some detail. The study first addresses the definition of identity, followed by digital identity, highlighting its key aspects and dimensions. Next, it discusses the concept of citizenship in general, followed by digital citizenship and its dimensions. Finally, the study presents the key issues that constitute the identity crisis within the framework of digital citizenship.

This article seeks to apply a pragmatic approach by utilizing one of the most essential procedural mechanisms of pragmatic research, namely Speech Act Theory. This theory is considered one of the key pillars of pragmatic linguistics, initially associated with the efforts of the linguistic philosopher Austin and later refined by his student Searle. Accordingly, this research aims to apply Searle’s fivefold classification to the discourse of the former leader of Tunisia’s Ennahda Movement, Rached Ghannouchi, by analyzing and categorizing the speech acts contained in his discourse. The study then highlights the illocutionary purpose and perlocutionary effect resulting from these acts.

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education has significantly transformed teaching methodologies, enhancing both instructional delivery and student engagement. This paper examines the impact of AI technology on teaching skills, focusing on its role in personalized learning, automation of administrative tasks, professional development, and ethical considerations. Through a review of recent literature, case studies, and expert opinions, the study highlights how AI tools such as intelligent tutoring systems, chatbots, and data analytics improve pedagogical effectiveness. However, challenges such as teacher adaptability, data privacy, and the risk of over-reliance on technology are also discussed. The paper concludes with recommendations for educators and policymakers to harness AI’s potential while mitigating its drawbacks.

This study examined the impact of implementing banking governance principles on the financial performance of the National Savings and Reserve Fund Bank Agency No. 303 in Annaba. The researchers adopted a descriptive analytical approach using questionnaires and statistical analysis (SPSS). The results concluded that there is a strong positive relationship between good governance and improved financial efficiency. The principles related to transparency, accountability, and fair treatment among shareholders also showed the greatest impact. The study contributes to enhancing understanding of the relationship between governance and sustainable banking performance in Algeria. The study recommends expanding the application of governance to other government-owned banking institutions.

This research paper aims at studying the effect of applying artificial intelligence on business management, where the study adopted the descriptive method for theoretical concepts, in addition to the statistical approach by using the SPSS v25 program to analyze the questionnaire and test the hypotheses of the study. The results showed that there is a positive correlation between artificial intelligence and business management. The study recommended that, Organizations should actively seek feedback, enhance their AI solutions for better communication, and invest in training to ensure that employees can effectively leverage these tools.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an extension of computer science that aims to assist humans in various fields and sectors of life. It is a programmed system that incorporates a vast array of data and information. It enables computers or machines to simulate the behavior of individuals by helping them solve complex and interconnected processes and problems, translate them into multiple languages, and quickly decode them. AI includes a group of programs, each according to the specialty for which it was developed, whether in health, education, or other fields. This new revolution has become the foundation for the prosperity and progress of nations today. Accordingly, this study aims to understand the concept of artificial intelligence and explore some of its applications and impacts in the field of educational psychology and the educational process as a whole.

This study aimed to examine the impact of behavioral factors on the behaviors of investors in the Tunis Stock Exchange. To achieve this objective, three behavioral factors related to informational aspects were considered: financial information, advice and recommendations, and media. These are viewed as biases that influence the behavior of many investors and thus impact their investment decisions. The study sample was limited to a group of investors in the Tunis Stock Exchange. The study hypothesis was tested through questionnaires distributed to investors in the Tunisian market, and the collected data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS v25. The overall results revealed variations in the level of influence: A significant influence of financial information on investor behavior was found, attributed to the investors’ preference for reviewing all available market information. As a result, they tend to rely on familiar and accessible information sources. A weak influence of advice and recommendations was observed, as investors do not wholly base their decisions on the suggestions of brokers, financial analysts, family, friends, and colleagues, preferring instead to rely on their own personal convictions. The results also found no influence of the media on investor behavior, as media sources are not considered reliable due to a lack of trust from Tunisian investors.

The Impact of Desertification Process on Natural Landscape

Relevance of the topic. The desertification process, which has become a global, socio-economic and political problem that has arisen as a result of the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors and has rapidly expanded in scale, has been studied in various directions in the last 50 years as a dangerous ecological problem in arid, semi-arid, semi-humid regions. In our republic, the study of the process in landscapes with arid climatic conditions that have a high desertification potential has begun in the last 20 years. However, the study of this process in the Kura Basin, which has an ancient history of settlement and agriculture, has not been carried out on the entire territory so far. It is from this perspective that the complex study of the desertification process in the landscapes of the Kura Basin attracts attention with its relevance. In the studied area, favorable climate, relief conditions, the presence of large rivers, and a number of desertification factors have also occurred, causing the natural landscapes to be mastered and transformed to varying degrees. Determining the factors causing desertification and the risk of desertification in the territory, and developing measures to combat them are one of the important issues of our time.

The Impact of Direct Foreign Investment on Unemployment in Jordan

This study aimed at recognizing the size of direct foreign investment in Jordan and its impact on the rate of unemployment in Jordan. It also aimed at recognizing the con- straints against the foreign investment. The study concludes that the low levels of these investments are attributed to the lack of regulating legislations that encourage foreign investment in Jordan. The study recommends the development of services and infra- structures; besides, the Jordanian concerned departments should prepare and dissemi- nate the information on investment opportunities in Jordan.

This study aims to investigate whether there is a relationship between the demographic, social, and economic factors of families and the school achievement of students who have passed the Middle School Certificate examinations (BEM). Given that the family is the primary and direct influence on school achieve-ment, a field study was conducted in the municipality of Oran. The sample included five hundred and twenty students who successfully passed middle school certificate examinations during the 2019--2020 school year; these students were distributed across fifty-seven middle schools. The study results revealed a relationship between school achievement and family demographic, social, and economic factors.

This study examines the impact of frontier technologies on countries' integration into global value chains. A quantitative approach was adopted using panel data and a pooled ordinary least squares (OLS) model was applied to a sample of countries in North Africa over the period (2008 202081). The study used the Frontier Technology Readiness Ind ex (FTRI) developed by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), which consists of five main pillars: ICT diffusion, skills, research and development (R&D), industrial activity, access to finance, and the GVC participation index. The results indicate that ICT diffusion, access to finance, and skills have statistically significant positive effects on integration into global value chains. In contrast, R&D and industrial activity have statistically significant negative effects. This indi cates that while some dimensions of frontier technology enhance countries' integration into global value chains, other dimensions may pose challenges, particularly in cases where local innovation systems or industrial structures are underdeveloped. The res ults underscore the importance of adopting a balanced approach that takes into account the context of frontier technology readiness to achieve effective integration.

In order to understand contemporary problems, it is first important to trace the origins of human thought from the moment when the question was posed the question of being, in general, and then the philosopher proposes a way of approaching to get to the heart of things by proceeding to deconstruct any subject that needs to be understood, or problem that needs to be solved.

Purpose. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of brand engagement strategies by examining the influence of influencer credibility on consumer engagement with the brand. It investigates the mediating role of perceived value in this relationship, using Iris, a leading Algerian brand in the electronics and household appliance sector, as the case study. The objective is to build an evidence-based model that explains how digital influencers can strengthen brand-consumer relationships through value perception. Results. A conceptual framework was developed based on recent literature in digital marketing and brand management. A structured questionnaire comprising four sections and based on a five-point Likert scale was distributed to a sample of 250 current and potential customers of Iris across Algeria. Statistical analysis using PLS-SEM revealed that influencer credibility significantly enhances perceived value, which in turn drives brand engagement. The mediating effect of perceived value was confirmed, highlighting its role as a psychological mechanism through which influencer strategies can influence brand behavior. Scientific novelty. This study offers a novel integrative model for understanding brand engagement in the Algerian digital context. It bridges a gap in current literature by introducing perceived value as a mediator between influencer credibility and brand engagement, particularly in a developing market setting. By focusing on Iris, a multi-product Algerian brand, the study provides practical and transferable insights for managers aiming to enhance brand relationships through influencer marketing and consumer value strategies.

The nuclear explosions carried out by France in the Algerian Sahara have caused significant damage, whether health-related, psychological, or ecological. Although the prevailing legal trends in the international community tend to ban nuclear tests due to their negative environmental ef-fects—resulting from nuclear radiation emitted either by the nuclear reactions themselves or by the nuclear waste they leave behind—the practical implementation of this prohibition is progress-ing at a slow pace, which does not correspond to the speed and severity of the danger threatening the environment with each nuclear reaction, regardless of its purpose. Algeria was among the coun-tries affected by these nuclear tests, as France conducted 17 nuclear tests in the early 1960s in the cities of "Reggane" and "In Ekker" and "Oued Namous" in southern Algeria. At that time, France exploited the spread of ignorance, poverty, and unemployment in those areas, and the consequenc-es were disastrous for both the environment and human beings.

This paper investigates the pedagogical potential of the Holy Qur‘an as a foundational tool in teaching Arabic grammar at the secondary school level. While traditional curricula often prioritize structural exercises and overlook the richness of Qur‘anic language, this study argues for the integration of Qur‘anic texts as authentic linguistic ref-erences that embody the core rules and expressive nuances of Arabic. Through a critical analysis of current teach-ing practices, the paper highlights the limited and superficial use of Qur‘anic examples in grammar instruction, suggesting that this neglect undermines both grammatical acquisition and student engagement. The proposed ap-proach advocates for a systematic and meaningful incorporation of Qur‘anic passages to enhance learners‘ under-standing of grammatical concepts while fostering a deeper connection to their linguistic and cultural identity. The Qur‘an, with its exemplary syntax and rhetorical depth, serves not only as a grammatical model but also as a bridge linking cognitive learning with civilizational awareness. Ultimately, the paper calls for a reformation of Arabic grammar pedagogy—one that elevates the Qur‘an from a peripheral to a central role in fostering linguistic compe-tence and cultural rootedness among students.

This study aims at estimating the impact of bank concentration on economic growth in Algeria and Oman during the period (2000 2021) using the multiple linear regression model. The study revealed a statistically significant negative relationship between banking concentration and economic growth i n Oman, indicating that high banking sector concentration may hinder growth due to weak competition, reduced credit allocation efficiency, or increased risks of financial instability. In other side, results showed no statistically significant relationship between banking concentration and economic growth, suggesting that other factors (particularly oil revenues) are the primary drivers of growth.
