It serves not only as a bridge between past and present but also as a medium of communication with future generations. This highlights the imperative to protect cultural property from various forms of aggression, as outlined in the 1954 Hague Convention. The Convention offers safeguards against looting, destruction, and illicit trafficking during armed conflicts, ensuring both general and specific protection from military exploitation, which can severely damage the economic stability of nations.

This study focused on the forms of social care provided by nursing homes for the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic, mainly as the elderly were more vulnerable to this virus, with a high number of fatalities recorded among them. This vulnerability is due mainly to their weakened immunity due to aging. The study also aimed to highlight the various types of care provided in nursing homes, including healthcare, psychological support, social assistance, and even spiritual care, which are tailored to meet the needs and specificities of this group. The study emphasised the need to further develop and enhance these forms of care, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the virus spread rapidly and cases surged within nursing homes.

The internal communication network in any organization is the backbone through which a set of internal and external strategic and tactical objectives are achieved. This is related to the flexibility of the internal elements of the organization, the most important of which is the organizational structure, and the smooth flow of internal information reaching its destination in a timely and appropriate manner. This ensures effectiveness and efficiency in performance across various professional levels, with actual control over all types of internal communications in all directions (upward, downward, and horizontal). Thus, a set of indicators emerges, reflecting the organization's strength or weakness on the practical and organizational levels and the nature of the relationships between its members. Therefore, this strength is linked to the effectiveness and flexibility of the internal communication process within the general organizational climate of the institution.

Vocabulary related to specific dishes, ingredients, cooking techniques, and traditional culinary practices contains valuable information about the historical, social, and cultural influences that have developed Georgian cuisine. By documenting these terms, future generations will be able to better understand their national culinary traditions and properly appreciate the cultural significance of Georgian gastronomy.

The current study aimed to explore the nature of parenting programs and their importance in helping families of children with special needs overcome the obstacles and problems they face while caring for and raising children with various disabilities and developmental disorders. These programs consist of scientifically validated methods designed to support and assist parents and other family members, preventing them from struggling alone with the daily challenges they encounter with their children. To achieve the study‘s objective, theoretical frameworks and literature concerning parenting programs and their significance for families of individuals with special needs were reviewed. Previous studies that investigated the effectiveness of these programs in reducing certain problems faced by such families were also examined and analyzed, with the goal of drawing conclusions that highlight the importance of parenting programs in helping these families overcome the challenges and difficulties they face, prevent problems, and ensure proper handling and resolution of issues.

It also discusses the importance of learner agency and responsibility, emphasizing the need for students to become active participants in their educa tion. Through practical strategies such as appropriate activity selection, affective support, and the promotion of learner autonomy, educators can help students take greater ownership of their learning journey. In this article, one of the types of toponyms - oikonyms, ways of formation of ethnonymic oikonyms derived from the names of tribes, nations, tribes, clans in their structure, changes in socio-political life, and other characteristics are studied in the example of Karakalpakstan ethno- oikonyms. The purpose of the study is to identify the origins of ethno- oikonyms, to determine the rich history of the language, the role of peoples’ migration in the study, as well as to reveal the theoretical basis of the study of ethno- oikonyms. The term oikonym is made up of the Greek words οyκοs - "live, house" and onyma - "name, term". It includes the names of places of human livings – the proper names of villages, settlements, streets, cities, and castle. Distinguishing one living place from another is the main function of the oikonym. Oikonyms play the role of address and place in the social life of people.

Land surveying plays a crucial role in clarifying and securing real estate ownership by accu-rately defining property boundaries on the ground and identifying legitimate owners. It represents the practical application of the real property registration system, which carries legal authority in confirming and formalizing ownership rights—a function that land surveying fulfills with precision and effectiveness. In Algeria, as in many other countries, the real property registration system based on land surveying was officially adopted in 1975. Nevertheless, the foundational stages of this system can be traced back to the era of French colonization, which spanned from 1830 to 1962. This research paper aims to examine the historical roots of Algeria’s land surveying system, with a particular focus on the influence of French legal frameworks. During the colonial period, French authorities introduced numerous legal provisions that laid the groundwork for real estate owner-ship purification through land surveying in Algeria.

Export marketing mix enables an organization to fulfill its goals in target markets and respond to market forces. In successful marketing services, adaptations/standardization strategies in different cultures should be demonstrated. However, the adaptation of marketing mix strategy in the service industry has been the subject of limited study. This paper aims to examine how the management commitment and people adaptation marketing mix can influence export performance in the context of higher education. Questionnaires were collected from 140 Malaysian higher education institutions. Partial least square–structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique was utilised to investigate relationship of constructs. The main results indicated that the people adaptation marketing mix is mediating the association between management commitment and higher education export performance. This study addresses the gap related to the understanding of export performance and export marketing in the service industry and higher education internationalisation. Future studies need to improve the theoretical model by testing other elements in the export marketing mix in the higher education industry.

The stylistic technique of interplay between the musnad (predicate) and the musnad ilayhi (subject) represents a natu-ral and distinctive feature of Andalusi poetry one that has largely escaped critical contention. This phenomenon emerged as a response to the transformation of social realities, wherein estrangement replaced familiar forms of ex-pression. Andalusi poets composed their verses in the stylistic mold of Abbasid poetry, adopting both its thematic and rhetorical structures. This imitation enabled them to articulate novel poetic units, the most prominent of which was the depiction of nature. The aesthetic beauty of the Andalusian landscape served as a rich source of inspiration, allowing poets to craft refined artistic imagery laden with subtle metaphorical nuances. The technique of syntactic interlacing whether within nominal or verbal sentences often departs from the normative structures of Arabic grammar. Such deviation enhances the semantic dynamism and expressive elegance of the text, generating effects of suspense, ambigu-ity, suggestion, and poetic opacity. These outcomes are achieved through a range of rhetorical strategies, including fronting and postponement (taqdim and ta’khir), displacement (inzihāḥ), shift in address (iltifāt), ellipsis (ḥadhf), brevi-ty (ījāz), repetition (takrār), parallelism (tatābuq), and contrast (mukhālafah).This poetic practice, marked by its trans-gression of conventional linguistic norms, establishes a new stylistic paradigm that emerges organically through the interaction between the poet and the audience.

Between 44 and 27 BCE, Rome witnessed a bloody struggle between Antony and Octavian, who differed in their political ambitions after the assassination of Julius Caesar. The conflict began with the Third Civil War, which arose following Caesar’s death. Antony and Octavian fought for control of power. Initially, they formed an alliance to avenge Caesar’s murder, but later, sharp disagreements emerged between them. Antony dominated the East and was allied with Cleopatra VII, while Octavian sought to gain influence in the West. The war concluded with the naval Battle of Actium in 31 BCE, where Octavian defeated the forces of Antony and Cleopatra. After pursuing Antony to Egypt, both he and Cleopatra committed suicide in 30 BCE. Octavian then became the sole ruler of Rome, founding the Roman Empire after years of civil wars. In 27 BCE, he declared the beginning of the imperial era and relinquished the republican titles.

The cowardly Zionist entity justified its recent aggression against the Gaza Strip through bombings, destruction, and killings, claiming these actions were part of its legal exercise of the right to self-defense, particularly citing legitimate self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. This was ostensibly in response to the recent "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood." The entity used this reasoning to justify its deployment of force, aerial and ground bombardments of cities and residential neighborhoods in Gaza, and the killing of innocent civilians, including children, women, the elderly, and the vulnerable. This approach directly violates the provisions of international law governing armed conflicts.

The Issue of Compensation for Unjustified Pre-trial Detention

The goal of justice is to reach the factual truth, which is pursued by individuals who cannot inevitably attain it. Therefore, this truth remains judicial. Consequently, justice is not infallible, as errors may occur in collecting, linking, and evaluating the elements of a crime at any stage of criminal proceedings, especially since the legislator has authorised the investigating judge in particular. Judicial officers generally take all investigative measures necessary to uncover the truth. One of the most critical investigative measures is the order for temporary detention. For this reason, the legislature has surrounded it with numerous conditions, procedures, and guarantees in favour of the accused, in line with and reinforcing the principle of the presumption of innocence. This is all because the order to place the accused in temporary detention deprives an individual of their most cherished possession: their sacred freedom, a fundamental principle and a primary goal of international human rights law.

In this study, we will try to examine a number of opinions that theorized truth and falsehood in the Arab critical and rhetorical heritage, by presenting the opinions of ancient Arab critics and rhetoricians such as (Al-Amidi, Al-Jahiz, Qudamah Ibn Jaafar, Ibn Sinan Al-Khafaji, Al-Qadi Al-Jurjani, Abu Hilal Al-Askari, Ibn Tabataba, Ibn Rasheeq, Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani, and others) and presenting their different positions on truth and falsehood in poetry and prose, analyzing, evaluating and judging them based on our critics’ view of this issue. Through our re-search, we will try to uncover the veil and remove the ambiguity on this subject, by re-reading this heritage anew in light of what modern studies have reached.

The Issue of Vacant Property After Algeria's Independence in 1962

This paper deals with the issue of vacant properties resulting from the mass migration of European settlers after Algeria's independence, leaving behind their properties, lands and real estate. This situation created a reality that the young Algerian state did not take into account, especially since this state had resolved this issue within the framework of the Evian agreements in 1962 following the cessation of hostilities with texts guaranteeing the rights of these settlers agreed upon by the French and Algerian parties. Therefore, Algeria tried to enact a set of laws and legislations and adapt them to protect and organize these vacant properties in order to serve the state's economic interests.

The judge is not merely a mouthpiece for the law but also a living embodiment of comprehensive justice. Justice is not confined to the words uttered in the courtroom; it extends to the judge's demeanour, gestures, expressions, glances, and even emotional responses. Thus, justice must be reflected in the judge's character. Mastery of legal procedure should be only the minimum requirement; beyond that, the judge must possess intuitive sensitivity, the logic of silence, a balanced sense of meaning, perceptive understanding, and a vision that perceives the spirit of the law without being reactive or influenced by vanity or excessive sentiment. A judge may, at times, perceive an element of victimhood in the accused or detect culpability within the victim. Such perceptiveness requires cognitive flexibility and mental agility, allowing the judge to explore alternative paths towards achieving justice unbound by unintended biases, exaggerations, or omissions. Therefore, the judge is the living embodiment of law applied through the essence of both spoken and unspoken justice.

The Khojaly Genocide is a grave tragedy for Azerbaijani Turks

The Khojaly genocide entered the history of Azerbaijan as one of its most terrible and tragic pages. Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev in connection with the 10th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, referring to the Azerbaijani people, said: "This cruel act of genocide entered the history of mankind as one of the worst mass acts of terrorism."1 It should be noted that for 200 years Azerbaijan has endured ethnic cleansing and genocide by Armenian chauvinists. Azerbaijanis were expelled from their historical lands, became refugees and IDPs, and this was accompanied by massacres committed by Armenians. Mass expulsion of Azerbaijanis from their historical and ethnic homelands occurred during the Soviet period. From 1948-1953 150,000 Azerbaijanis were deported from Armenia and placed in the Kur-Araz lowland. And in 1988 250 thousand Azerbaijanis were expelled from their historical lands, and thus Armenia became a mono-ethnic state. Events that unfolded around Nagorno-Karabakh from 1988, as striving Armenian ideologists implemented their crazy idea "Armenia from sea to sea" led to the destruction of villages, towns, the death of tens of thousands of innocent people, as well as the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis from their native lands.

Some Algerian women played heroic roles throughout the history of Algeria in all its stages, especially the modern and contemporary stage and the emergence of the national state. This woman was enriched by the homeland and the love of the land. She bore the responsibility of defending it and its honor and left her fingerprints that were immortalized on the pages of history transmitted by generations. These women combined the softness and cruelty and satiated with the spirit of Islam and Arabism, which increased their stubbornness and ferocity in defending the sanctities. The homeland, the land and honor were difficult to accept compromises and concessions. Algerian women emerged during the 19th century AD to teach the French enemy a lesson and inflicted terrible defeats. The most prominent among them was Fatima Lalla Nsomer, who made the epic of the tribal region led by the armies and provoked fever against the French colonization to expel it from their land. She was able to win the loyalty of the people of her region and neighboring areas and everyone responded to her call and joined under her banner for what she saw of courage and wisdom in her person.
