This article examines the functional-semantic field of household utensils in Kyrgyz and Russian linguistic cultures through a comparative ethnolinguistic approach. Drawing upon lexicographic sources, idiomatic expressions, proverbs, and everyday speech, the study identifies core lexical units and their culturally marked connotations in both languages. The analysis reveals that, while many household terms in Kyrgyz and Russian denote similar physical objects, they differ significantly in their symbolic functions, metaphoric usage, and conceptual associations. In the Kyrgyz tradition, many terms carry gendered and ritual meanings rooted in nomadic life, whereas in Russian, the semantic field is shaped by settled domesticity and Orthodox-Christian values. The article highlights how language reflects culturally specific views of space, labor, and social roles, and demonstrates the potential of semantic fields to serve as mirrors of worldview. The findings contribute to the broader field of cross-cultural semantics and offer practical insights for translators, ethnographers, and language educators.

This article examines the importance of integrated mathematics education in the formation of professional competencies of future teachers. The study focuses on updating the content of education, developing students' critical thinking, research and practical skills. The effectiveness of using STEM and CLIL technologies in the teaching process is shown, and the role of interdisciplinary connections and practice-oriented tasks in shaping the ability to use knowledge in real life is revealed. The article provides theoretical foundations, methodological approaches and practical examples of integration lessons. The results of the study emphasize the importance of developing mathematical and functional literacy, increasing motivation to learn, and developing students' creative and research abilities. In addition, integrated learning has been proven to promote the development of digital, creative, social, and leadership skills. This approach activates the learning process, increases.

The importance of inclusive education is the subject of this article. Inclusive education is an educational process and program created for children who cannot exist in society, suffer from the lack of opportunities in education, and who are excluded by society. This educational program requires states to develop appropriate educational strategies for all children of learning age in their countries, to implement these strategies in a planned manner, and to monitor their results. An environment conducive to inclusive learning nurtures and educates all children regardless of gender, physical, intellectual, social, emotional, linguistic and other characteristics.

This article examines the impact of international legal norms on the regulation of labor migration in the Kyrgyz Republic. It explores how international treaties, conventions, and best practices influence national migration policies and legal frameworks. The study employs a comparative analysis of domestic legislation and international standards, identifying both opportunities and challenges in harmonizing these norms with local regulatory practices. The findings highlight that while the adoption of international legal principles has enhanced the effectiveness and transparency of labor migration regulation, significant obstacles remain in the implementation process due to structural and administrative constraints. The article concludes with recommendations for policymakers aimed at further aligning domestic practices with global legal standards, thereby improving the overall governance of labor migration in the region.

Libraries in the Islamic world were considered, first of all, an important place for preserving the Quran and Hadith and transmitting them perfectly to future generations. Later, they served as the basis for the emergence of large scientific institutions. Gradually, these scientific institutions turned into large academies that promoted and researched both religious and secular knowledge. Book treasures also played a significant role in the emergence of scientific institutions such as "Bayt ul-Hikma" and "Ma'mun Academy".

The Representation of National Identity in Outdoor Advertising in Kyrgyzstan

This study aims to examine how national identity is represented in outdoor advertising in Kyrgyzstan within the context of the glocalization process. The primary focus of the research is on the national identity indicators employed in outdoor advertisements. In contemporary advertising shaped by globalization and glocalization, the representation of national identity has become a significant area of scholarly inquiry. The study adopts a quantitative research design and employs content analysis as its methodological approach. The sample consists of 93 outdoor advertisements containing national identity indicators, identified on major central streets of Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, between December 2023 and May 2024. The advertisements were analyzed according to a coding framework that includes country-related, cultural, historical, linguistic, religious, shared public, and national belonging codes. The findings indicate that national identity is most frequently represented through cultural codes in outdoor advertising, followed respectively by shared public and country-related codes. In addition, the results reveal that national identity indicators are predominantly presented through modern representational forms and that national identity is used more extensively in advertisements of domestic brands compared to those of foreign brands. Overall, the study demonstrates that national identity in outdoor advertising in Kyrgyzstan is primarily reproduced through cultural indicators within a modern narrative framework.

It analyzes theoretical frameworks underpinning technology integration, including constructivist learning theories, the TPACK framework, and the SAMR model. The study explores various digital tools used in ELT, such as multimedia resources, learning management systems, mobile applications, virtual classrooms, and AI-based technologies, and discusses their impact on language skill development, learner motivation, autonomy, and personalized learning. Special attention is given to changes in teacher and learner roles in technology-enhanced environments, as well as challenges related to infrastructure, digital inequality, assessment, and teacher training. The article concludes that technology can significantly enhance ELT effectiveness when integrated thoughtfully and pedagogically.

The Sovietization of Azerbaijan, spanning from the early 1920s to the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, was a transformative period that significantly impacted the country's political, social, economic, and cultural landscape. This paper explores the multifaceted process of Sovietization and its enduring legacy on Azerbaijan's development. Politically, Sovietization entailed the establishment of authoritarian rule, characterized by one-party dominance and the suppression of political dissent. Socially, it led to both advancements in education and healthcare and the suppression of cultural and religious freedoms, contributing to tensions within Azerbaijani society. Economically, Sovietization fostered the development of heavy industry and infrastructure but also resulted in environmental degradation and economic inefficiencies. Understanding the complexities of Sovietization is crucial for comprehending contemporary Azerbaijani realities and ongoing efforts towards political reform, economic development, and social progress.

The concept of discourse occupies a central position in contemporary linguistic studies, reflecting the anthropocentric orientation of language. Discourse is widely regarded as a complex communicative process that integrates both linguistic and extralinguistic dimensions. Furthermore, numerous scholars emphasize its multifaceted nature, encompassing cognitive, sociocultural, and pragmatic aspects. This article aims to explore the theoretical foundations of discourse and its classification into various types, such as personal and institutional discourse. In addition, a comparative analysis of English and Russian lexicographic traditions highlights significant differences. While both languages underscore the importance of communicative interaction, the Russian perspective uniquely incorporates extralinguistic factors, including sociocultural and psychological dimensions. Consequently, discourse is conceptualized as a bridge between reality and text, facilitating a nuanced understanding of language use. Moreover, advertising discourse is identified as a subset of media discourse, distinguished by its systemic features. Ultimately, the study advances theoretical insights into discourse’s situational relevance and practical implications.

This paper identifies the role of the concept of father in English and Kyrgyz linguistic picture of the world. The aim of the study is to analyze this concept in two different cultures throughout proverbs, since proverbs do carry the nature and essence of a folk and language reflecting wisdom of a culture in every saying. The topicality of the research is the necessity in deeper understanding how different is the perception of the concept of father in two different languages. The novelty of this work is comparing the role of the concept of father in English and Kyrgyz languages with the help of folk sayings and determining possible differences and similarities in them. In order to achieve the aim of the topic, critical and comparative analyses were done on the interpretation of proverbs. Moreover, to complete the research, we have set following tasks: to give definitions for the concept of father, to classify the proverbs and sayings into possible semantic groups, and to compare the proverbs about father in two absolutely different languages. Thus, we can witness and establish the role of father in English and Kyrgyz cultures thanks to the important part of a speech such as a proverb which displays the ideology of every culture and folk.

The concept “hospitality” in the Kyrgyz linguistic worldview

The article reflects the moral and ethical value of the concept of hospitality in the Kyrgyz linguistic picture of the world. The concept “hospitality” is studied from semantic, conceptual and lingua-cultural analysis on the material of set expressions, proverbs and sayings, widely used in the Kyrgyz speech culture, and examples taken from fiction texts. Hospitality reflects the necessity of a human being to set contacts and ties with other members of the community, neighbors, and business environment. Scholars who deal with research related to cultures, national character, and values, develop the idea that hospitality has a supreme power that influences human beings and relations between people. It occupies a supreme role in the hierarchy of the national values of the Kyrgyz people. The hospitality of the Kyrgyz people is associated with a large material costs, customs and rituals that have been preserved by people. This is a custom that has penetrated into the lifestyle of people from generation to generation. The lingua-cultural descriptive analysis allows us to say that there are both - universal and nationally specific features of hospitality, reflected in behaviour and the national character of the Kyrgyz.

The rapid expansion of space activities, including the deployment of satellites, the commercialization of space, and the potential militarization of outer space, has raised serious concerns about the long-term sustainability and environmental safety of outer space. This article explores the evolution of the concept of "environmental security" as applied to the regulation of space activities in international law. The paper examines how current legal frameworks, including the 1967 Outer Space Treaty and subsequent UN resolutions, address the ecological risks posed by space debris, nuclear-powered spacecraft, and military experiments in orbit. The study argues for the need to redefine and expand environmental security to encompass outer space, proposing legal and institutional mechanisms to mitigate the dual threats of environmental degradation and militarization. Emphasis is placed on the integration of environmental principles into space law to ensure the preservation of space as a global common good for future generations.

The history of amateur artistic ensembles in Surkhandarya

The article reviews and briefly analyzes the development of issues related to the organization of amateur art activities using the example of the Surkhan oasis. It provides data on the style of performance, ensemble participants, repertoire, and uniqueness. The history of folk oral art in the Surkhan oasis goes back thousands of years. National values were preserved in full. Initially, cultural and educational institutions, clubs, and "red teahouses" created by the Soviet government were organized based on its objectives. In particular, "cultural education" was carried out in the form of publishing wall newspapers, reading newspapers, reading books, listening to the radio, and various conversations and lectures. However, these activities did not receive due recognition among the people. The residents of the Surkhan oasis are also considered to be a people who have remained faithful to their rich material and spiritual heritage. In particular, the oasis has exceptionally well preserved ethnographic values.

A comparative analysis is conducted to identify specific cultural and geographical factors that shape the understanding of intelligence in these languages. The study reveals that the mountainous environment fosters unique metaphors and associations related to the concept of intelligence, reflecting adaptation to living conditions and the cultural values of mountainous regions. In English, the conceptualization of intelligence is more abstract and related to general notions of mental ability, while in Kyrgyz, there is a strong connection to natural elements and traditional perceptions. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the cultural and geographical influences on the linguistic conceptualization of key concepts.
